Former 'GMA' Hosts Have Relationship Update 4 Years After Scandalous Photos Got Them Fired From Show

Former “Good Morning America” hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have tied the knot nearly four years after they were fired from the show for having an affair. People magazine reports that Robach and Holmes married last month in Washington County, Arkansas, a day after they applied for the license. People noted that the location was especially personal for Holmes, who was born in West Memphis, Arkansas, and attended the University of Arkansas. The couple registered the marriage certificate in county court on Tuesday, almost a year after they announced their wedding plans on their podcast. Robach met Holmes in September 2020 when they started working together on “GMA3: What You Need to Know.” At the time, Robach was married to former “Melrose Place” actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig. However, both were reportedly separated or in the process of separating from their partners when their relationship began. In December 2022, the Daily Mail reported that Robach and Holmes were dating despite working on the same ABC show and being married to other people. The optics were bad enough that ABC News President Kim Godwin temporarily removed them from the air after the story broke, and then made it permanent a month later. The two started a podcast in December 2023. The couple did not immediately respond to HuffPost’s request for comment.
