Fox News contributor Joe Concha appeared shocked Friday by a video released by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani reminding his Spanish-speaking constituents of their constitutional rights in the presence of ICE.

In the video, Mamdani gives advice in Spanish on how people should interact with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers trying to access private homes or businesses amid chaotic crackdowns under President Donald Trump.

“In a document, look for the words ‘United States District Court’ and a judge’s signature,” said Mamdani. “You can ask the officers to pass the order under the door. If they do not have a judicial warrant, you can leave the door closed and say, ‘I do not consent to your entry.’”

He added, “Second, you have the right to remain silent. If ICE stops you on the street, ask, ‘Am I free to go?’ If the agent says yes, walk away calmly. Speak with a lawyer before signing any documents or making any decisions about your immigration status or case.”

Concha, who appeared on “Hannity,” used a little Spanish of his own to express his disdain for the explainer.

“No Bueno, Jason,” Concha told guest host Jason Chaffetz. “You served on the House judiciary, right? I mean, how is this not illegal? I mean, Mamdani literally is telling people how to break the law and avoid arrest from federal law enforcement.”

“He should be hauled in front of Congress, you know, tomorrow, immediately,” added Concha.

Trump’s immigration agenda has cost multiple Americans their lives and seen skyrocketing numbers of children, including infants, in immigrant detention.

“And the next time he takes questions from reporters, by the way, he should be asked, ‘Mr. Mayor, do you value the lives of those you’re supposed to serve, those who are in the country legally — or those in the country illegally?’” Concha continued Friday.

Chaffetz argued that it was “a bridge too far” for Mamdani to “use city resources to do it in Spanish.”

The Fox voices weren’t the only ones aghast at Mamdani’s public-service act.

“Unbelievable,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fl.) wrote on X in reposting the video. “The Mayor of New York is openly helping illegal aliens evade @ICEgov and undermine the law. Radical Democrats are doing EVERYTHING in their power to recreate Biden’s open border disaster.”

Several other GOP lawmakers and MAGA pundits have similarly distorted Mamdani’s message.
