Trump Declares Himself A 'Freakin' Genius,' But Jimmy Kimmel Has Major Doubts

Jimmy Kimmel mocked President Donald Trump’s most recent rant about scoring well on so-called cognitive tests. “But if anyone was worried about his brain, don’t. He’s good. He’s giving himself cognitive tests, and he’s passing them with flying colors,” Kimmel said on Wednesday night’s show. “Five words, sir. Hat, hair, logo, white, black. Sir, would you please repeat those words?” Trump said about his cognitive tests during a rally in Arizona. “Hat, hair, logo, white, black. Oh, you got it right.” The clip drew huge laughs from Kimmel’s studio audience and prompted the late-night host to describe the test as something you would “give your grandfather after he fell off a stepladder.” Kimmel also played a clip of Trump claiming you get “a lot of points” if you repeat the words in order. “Nobody can do that. Very few people can do that. And very few, they say very few people can do it, but almost none can do them in order like that. But I can. You know why? Because I’m a freaking genius,” Trump said. Kimmel observed that if anyone believes what Trump said, they’ll also believe that he actually plans to send everyone $5,000 if the Republicans retain control of Congress. “Now, who wants to see a ‘genius’ dance to the Village People, huh?” Kimmel cracked.
