Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. ambassador to Greece who’s been accused of corruption, is now being exposed for her thoughts on the new wife of her ex-fiance, Donald Trump Jr. “She’s a cloud chasing horror,” Guilfoyle purportedly texted amid reports of Trump Jr.’s budding relationship with socialite Bettina Anderson in 2024. The Daily Mail on Saturday published the apparent messages between Guilfoyle and Trump donor Eric Deters about Anderson. After the tabloid’s report on Sept. 15, 2024, that Trump Jr. was spotted kissing Anderson at a brunch, Deters reached out to Guilfoyle. Deters had just hosted Guilfoyle and Trump Jr. at his annual MAGA festival. “You doing ok?” Deters texted her on Sept. 17, 2024, per the Daily Mail. “Saw the Daily Mail report. I have that app. I could tell Saturday that you were hurting. I hope all works out. I care.” “What it’s fake news,” Guilfoyle replied. “You of all people should know makes me more upset now you would believe lies. I wasn’t hurting wft?” “I was having a great fucking time Saturday and we had a fucking amazing time when we got home Saturday night that’s a nonsense,” she continued. “That’s his ex-wife’s friend. It’s all lies, but she’s a cloud chasing horror that plays the story in the Daily Mail to get attention.” Guilfoyle also accused the future Bettina Trump of sending the tabloid bikini pictures of herself. Reports of Guilfoyle and Trump Jr.’s breakup accelerated amid the president’s nomination of Guilfoyle for the ambassadorship in December 2024. Trump and Anderson wed in May 2026, inviting their own controversy by having a Russian oligarch pay for part of their celebration. (The oligarch later said the couple paid him back.) Guilfoyle is currently in hot water for her alleged request to Deters to have him pay off her $100,000 credit card debt before her confirmation hearing. She allegedly promised him access to the administration in return. She also advanced the interests of a Greek construction company and allowed its lobbyists into diplomatic meetings, according to The Wall Street Journal. Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are thinking about firing her, according to reports.
