Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit devolved into sophomoric stupidity when President Donald Trump showed him the autopen photo that represents a Joe Biden portrait in the White House.

The White House X account proudly shared the moment Thursday on the Presidential Walk of Fame with a laughing emoji, but many were not amused.

“The most un-American thing an American president has ever done,” ex-Rep. John Delaney (D-Md.) wrote on X.

Trump replaced Biden’s photo with the autopen image in September of last year to lean into unproven claims that the former president was so unwell that staffers used an autopen to approve pardons and other measures for him.

Walking with the Chinese leader, Trump pointed out his own photos before arriving at the disrespectful display.

“And this is the autopen,” he said. “It’s Biden.”

Trump then tapped his counterpart on the arm; Xi offered polite laughter as those around him laughed more heartily.

“Gone” singer Bill Madden had a fiery interpretation of the giggle.

“Trump thinks Xi is laughing at the Biden autopen jab,” Madden wrote. “He isn’t. Xi is laughing because he cannot believe the American electorate was so fucking dumb they elected this buffoonish imbecile to a second term.”

The U.S. leader’s former deputy press secretary was not impressed either.

“Nothing says ‘America First’ like mocking a former American president in front of a communist dictator,” Sarah Matthews wrote. “Trump may think he’s humiliating Biden, but all he’s doing is humiliating the United States.”
