Alina Habba, President Donald Trump’s former attorney and controversial defender on cable news, is getting married this weekend, according to multiple outlets. Habba, 42, will tie the knot with 29-year-old Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon months after she and second husband Gregg Reuben divorced, the Daily Mail reported. “The MAGA princess found someone who treats her like the queen she is,” a source “close to the administration” told The Correspondent. The Daily Mail reported the couple were seen in Palm Beach, Florida, on Wednesday and had pictures of them arriving at dinner with Habba sporting a “gigantic” diamond ring. They also attended the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April before it was interrupted by gunfire. Trump will probably not attend the wedding, given that he is scheduled to be in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Saturday for a college football game between top-ranked University of Texas and the University of Tennessee, the Daily Beast wrote. But other unnamed Trump administration officials are expected to attend. The White House did not immediately respond to a HuffPost request for clarity on that. Mildon — whose family is said to have connections with Turkey’s authoritarian president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan — reportedly confirmed the wedding in the Turkiye Today outlet. He said the two were introduced through a mutual friend. “This marriage has no political purpose,” he said, per the outlet. Habba shares two children with first husband Matthew Eyet. Mildon got divorced in 2024, per the Sunday Guardian. Turkiye Today reported the wedding would take place in New York on Saturday, but sources for both the Daily Mail and The Correspondent didn’t give details on the location. However, one source told the Daily Mail: “The wedding will not be low-key. It’s going to be princess status.” Habba briefly served as counselor to the president in his second term, then as acting U.S. attorney in New Jersey before being forced to resign in December when a court ruled she was in that role illegally.
