What a surprise. The White House wasn’t crazy about Rosie O’Donnell’s guest-hosting on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” this week.

“Rosie O’Donnell is a nasty woman and a total slob whose brain has been completely destroyed by Trump Derangement Syndrome,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly on Friday.

O’Donnell, whose move to Ireland after Donald Trump’s reelection added extra juice to their decades-long feud, returned to the states recently to star in a one-woman show and to fill in for Kimmel for a bit.

She capped the stint in style on Thursday, zinging her nemesis for spending more nights with her than Melania. She also thanked Kimmel “for reminding everyone that we have the right to free speech in this country, whether Orange Voldemort likes it or not.”

She injected some razzmatazz into her razzing with a song parody. To the tune of “Danny Boy” she told “Donny Boy”: “But there’s a way to end this drama. It’s time to use that stable-genius brain. Since we all know you’ll never be Obama, why not resign, and make this country great again?”

With their response, White House staffers appeared to take a cue from their boss, who has used the TDS swipe in the past.

But as long as Trump and his team continue to give air to the Hatfield-McCoy war with O’Donnell, the comedian is probably OK with it.

She recently said she was “re-famous” thanks to the “Mango Mussolini.”

O’Donnell added: “If he knew how much he was helping my career and my life, he would shut up about me because, you know, he’s a horrible creature.”
