If most Americans understood the stark reality that we are paying into a system with a broken infrastructure — where most of our tax money goes to pay for 'defense' — they'd hopefully take their outrage to the polls and vote for better policies. Those in power, however, turn to fearmongering scam tactics to prevent people from demanding more."
