Although Monday’s edition of the Great American State Fair was devoted to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Make America Health Again (MAHA) program, one of the events seemed more designed to Make Americans Lose Their Lunch.

For some reason, organizers decided the best way to promote healthier eating habits was to have visitors participate in conspicuous consumption by eating as many pancakes as possible.

Four contestants competed to see who could eat the most protein pancakes in the shortest amount of time.

Fox News showed video of contestants trying to avoid gagging while eating and correspondent Mark Meredith noted that eating contests are “tough on any day, let alone in this kind of heat.”

He added: “The guy who won appeared really worried he wasn’t going to be able to keep the pancakes down, but in the end, he made it.”

Fox News visually summarized Meredith’s discussion of a potential vomit session with a chyron that, ironically, read “Great American State Fair Celebrate MAHA Movement.”
