Savannah Guthrie Pushes JLo’s Buttons By Asking Her If She’s Dating This 1 Beloved Actor

Don’t forget she’s from the Bronx, Savannah Guthrie. On Tuesday’s episode of “Today,” Guthrie decided to needle Jennifer Lopez a bit about a rumor that she’s dating her “Office Romance” co-star Brett Goldstein, who appeared alongside JLo to promote their new rom-com. After rolling a clip of Lopez admitting to Andy Cohen that the “Ted Lasso” star was her best on-screen kiss ever, Guthrie flat out asked the “Jenny from the Block” singer if the rumor that the two were canoodling was true. “There’s never a time where I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,” Lopez responded, looking mildly annoyed. Goldstein tried to soften the tension by jokingly adding, “I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens. That’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.” Goldstein’s cheeky response certainly didn’t help the situation, because it prompted Guthrie to swiftly call out Lopez. “That was not an answer,” Guthrie said. “That was not an answer?!” Lopez said, incredulously. “It was an answer!” “You didn’t say yes or no,” Guthrie pressed. “’Cause all these people that they put me with!” Lopez said, getting increasingly frustrated. “I think I was with Kevin Costner this year, I was with a lot of people. It happens all the time. Doesn’t make it true.” Noticing that the “Hustlers” star was getting pretty heated, Guthrie decided to deflect by throwing Lopez a compliment. “That’s what happens when you’re like, a hot eligible single person,” Guthrie said, getting Lopez to laugh. “Ok, so, you’re not dating?” Guthrie tried one last time. “Not dating,” Lopez confirmed. “Correct,” Goldstein said. Perhaps the reason why Lopez got miffed was because just last week, the “Monster-in-Law” star also confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel that she was single — and really enjoying it. “I should have done it sooner!” Lopez told Kimmel. “I’ve been doing it all wrong … trust me.” When Kimmel asked Lopez — who has a reputation for being a serial monogamist — if she’d consider being the next “Bachelorette,” she emphatically said, “No!” “Are you crazy?” Lopez said. “I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now. It’s fantastic. I love it.” When Kimmel mentioned it might be difficult for her to meet someone considering her fame, Lopez waved it off. “I’ll meet somebody somewhere one day, if they’re good enough, I don’t know,” she said.
