President Donald Trump has spent much of the last year attempting to dismantle mail-in voting as midterm elections approach. But after losing multiple court battles, he’s now encouraging Republicans to vote by mail.

“Early Voting, in-person, is UNDERWAY NOW in the Great State of New Jersey. If you have a mail-in ballot, return it immediately and, if not, GO VOTE at the Polls RIGHT NOW, and get everyone you know to VOTE FOR THE REPUBLICAN IN EVERY RACE, UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT!” Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday morning.

Trump posted the message multiple times for several states, including California, Michigan, and Florida. Trump made posts about voting by mail earlier this week.

Courts blocked two of Trump’s executive orders aimed at limiting access to voting, including one that would direct the Postal Service not to deliver certain mail ballots. Last month, the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s order.

Trump — who has voted by mail multiple times — took his rage out in a Truth Social post.

“Republicans just got another bad decision from the United States Supreme Court, one that the Court System took forever to give, and then blamed it, in part, on no time left to implement a solution to our totally CORRUPT and out of control Mail-In voting ‘disaster,’ which is a laughing stock all over the World, and where we are the only country that has to endure such a Nation Destroying SCAM,” Trump posted in September.

“It is a big loss for Republicans, and America itself, and makes cheating by the Radical Left “Dumocrats,” on Mail-In Ballots, a much easier thing to do - And now they have an open field to do so!” he added.

Despite decrying the very thing he does himself, Trump has appeared to embrace mail-in voting — at least for now, and only for Republicans.

“Whether you VOTE early, absentee, by mail, or in-person, Republicans must SWAMP the Radical Left Dumocrats with massive turnout!” Trump’s Saturday post said.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) pointed out Trump’s hypocrisy in a post on X Thursday after Trump encouraged Californians to vote by mail.

“Good to see Trump endorse mail in ballot voting in California, he may want to let his DOJ know he approves,” Newsom posted.
