“Late Night” host Seth Meyers presented his theory about what could be behind President Donald Trump’s recent infatuation with men’s bodies.

“So we’re learning a lot about how the president deals with the pressure of an intense midterm election; for example, we’re learning that he has a bizarre fixation with men’s physiques,” Meyers said before playing a supercut of Trump’s various tangents complimenting Republican candidates’ bodies.

“This is a sign of how bad things are going for Trump. The only issue he has left to campaign on is, ‘Me likey what I see,’” Meyers said.

The “Late Night” host highlighted a moment from Trump’s Oklahoma rally, where he stopped the speech entirely to look for “Oklahoma studs.”

“Where are they?” Trump asked. “You can’t miss a big, strong, handsome Oklahoma studs.”

Meyers compared the president to a blindfolded bride at her bachelorette party.

“Where are the studs? Someone bring me the studs. I got a purse full of dollars and a hankering for grade A Oklahoma beef. Come to mama studs,” Meyers said

The host dropped his theory as to why Trump has been engaging in this behavior over the last several weeks.

“I think what’s going on here is that Trump has always valued surface over substance. He doesn’t know or care about the issues. He just knows marketing. He cares about looks. That’s it,” Meyers said.
