And MAGA wonders why there are so many childless cat ladies.

President Donald Trump made two speeches this week in which he joked about his wife, Melania Trump, disapproving of his antics. Apparently, the first lady is not a fan of two things Trump loves to do onstage: perform horrible impressions of transgender athletes and do his jerky “YMCA” dance.

During one of Trump’s speeches, he even goaded the crowd into encouraging him to do what he said his wife “hates” — which may explain why the first lady has made anti-bullying her signature issue.

At a rally Wednesday in Bullhead City, Arizona, during a nearly incoherent rant about an unidentified trans weightlifter, Trump blurted out: “My wife is going crazy with me.”

“She hates... she said, ‘You’re president of the United States, you shouldn’t be doing this,’” Trump said before doing exactly what his wife “hates” by performing an impression of an athlete lifting a barbell over their head, complete with grunts.

Trump also said the first lady also gets the ick from his signature “YMCA” dance and has told him he “shouldn’t be dancing on the stage, either.”

“She said, ‘You should walk off with a gentle wave,’” Trump said while mockingly performing her request. “Goodbye, everyone.”

After calling the “YMCA” the “gay national anthem” and claiming the song helped him get the “highest gay vote of any Republican in history,” he continued to ridicule his wife.

“She said, ‘You should not dance off the stage, my darling,’” Trump went on. “‘I love you very much, but please, don’t do that.’”

During a rally in Wasilla, Alaska, on Tuesday, Trump also brought up how his wife thinks he should stop rambling about trans athletes.

“My wife hates when I talk about this,” Trump told his supporters Tuesday. “She says, ‘Oh, it’s so unelegant, darling.’”

Trump then proceeded to vilify a trans swimmer before returning to the weightlifter he also mentioned on Wednesday.

“I’m telling you, my wife doesn’t like these stories,” Trump reminded the crowd. “I said, ‘I just won the damn election in a landslide, leave me alone.’”

Trump then began to mimic the weightlifter by pretending to pump iron before pointing out: “Oh, my wife hates this… she said it’s so damn unpresidential.”

The president added that he thinks his impressions are “cool” and asked rallygoers if they wanted to see him continue.

And of course, the crowd cheered him on. Trump thanked the audience and proceeded to ham up his impersonation.

Trump ultimately concluded on Tuesday that trans athletes are “so demeaning” to women — but we suppose publicly deriding his wife is not.
