“What’s sad is this stuff isn’t that difficult to fix. But, like any business, the folks in charge have their model.”

I like to write about spooky stuff, including *EEK* politics, as well as various lifestyle and pop culture topics.

Note: These stories haven't been confirmed by BuzzFeed. People on the internet like to...let's just say "embellish" things, so take their stories with a grain of salt.

"Someone said that water bottle companies don't sell water, they sell plastic bottles. A lot of the time, you're paying for tap water, which is usually free."

"One of my customers shared a building with a popular local water brand. It was just a big, dark warehouse in the middle of the city with a big tap water filter in the middle and a bottling line. It was basically all automated, except for one or two people moving pallets around and occasionally maintaining the machine."

"I think they can influence in a more passive sense, like the relative quantities you see throughout a place. It creates perceptions of relative popularity, which could influence a person."

"What’s sad is this stuff isn’t that difficult to fix. But, like any business, the folks in charge have their model. We know the public school system has its issues… Kids being promoted or passed without demonstrating competency, graduating without being able to read, etc. Now imagine that for music, without state testing, district testing, quarterly grades, or grade level requirements."

"It's to make the company look as though it's doing better than it might actually be doing. If they see that there's a constant need for hiring more people, shareholders feel more confident in the company and what it's doing. I personally think it's a really crappy and horrible thing to do to people, especially in today's society, where people desperately need work."
