Promising review: "This is truly an exceptional product. I wear flip-flops every day, and after a few weeks/months, the cracked heels + callouses can get pretty gross looking. These have been an inexpensive alternative to going to the nail salon every few weeks. The pumice stone is fairly soft and easy to hold. At the same time, it does a great job exfoliating my gross, cracked heels. I basically just soak my feet in warm water in the bathtub, wash them with soap, and then gently exfoliate each heel/foot. The stone is gentle enough that it doesn't hurt, but at the same time, it pulls off a decent amount of dead skin. Since I have some pretty serious cracked feet (~two months of dead skin), it took me about 10 minutes of scrubbing both feet to remove all of the skin. One great thing about the stone is that it is still fairly clean after! It flakes while you are using it, but I believe that's considered one of the sanitary features of the stone. Some may consider this a negative (the flaked parts don't regenerate, so you will have some dents from the parts that are more heavily used). Great buy, I would def repurchase." —MTW Get a four-pack from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in two colors). Promising reviews: "I am in steel-toe boots five days a week, and I have always dealt with callus feet. Since using this product, I have seen a tremendous decline in my callus. Will be ordering this product again." —Cynthia Wiggins "I absolutely love this product! This urea stick has completely transformed my feet, leaving them incredibly soft and completely callus-free. The high-concentration formula works amazingly fast on dry, rough skin. I also appreciate the convenient stick design because it makes the application smooth, precise, and mess-free. If you want real, visible results for soft feet, I highly recommend this product. A total must-have." —Lp The built-in gel pads have vitamin E, jojoba oil, and olive oil to moisturize your feet without having to deal with any messy creams. Promising reviews: "I have terrible heels. I'm barefoot a lot. This really helped with the heel callus, and it softened right up. I will probably use this every week or every other week. I recommend." —PJ "With two pairs in the box, they can fit my husband’s size 13 and my size 8 in women's. We have wasted so many years on all kinds of products and solutions. This product is so simple and inexpensive to transform callused heels into soft ones. It’s a keeper!" —Wildflower Get it from Amazon for $14.95 (available in five colors and multipacks). I'm just spoiled by both the immaculate products and the immaculate vibes of Old Whaling Co. now. They have shower steamers, bath bombs, and LOTS of body butters, and my skin has never been happier that I have made them my one-stop shop for all my bath goodies needs. (But seriously, I put this on my feet every night. BYE BYE, CALLUSES!) Promising reviews: "Doing a survey and feedback on this product is a winner, but it's so hard because all of the smells are so full of aroma. I got the seaweed sea salt. I use it on the bottom of my feet. Working in the healthcare field, working all day, soak your feet in warm water, apply some gloves, and just massage your feet, especially the bottom, and you will feel the difference." —Ellabeth M. "This is my absolute favorite body moisturizer. I recommend it for diabetic feet. Smells great. Is thick and absorbent." —Lisa T. Promising review: "I have a callus and this little foot spa helps so much. I soak for a while and then file my callus. It also makes your feet feel nice." —Carol8h Read more about how an Epsom salt soak can help with muscle pain and soreness at the Cleveland Clinic. Promising reviews: "I bought this because I do love the smell of tea tree oil. I used this in combination with the gel callus remover, and together the results are amazing. Salon quality for a fraction of the price. Will buy again!" —joy "Amazing combination of salts. Takes out all callus and dead skin. It leaves skin baby soft and clean!! Also makes the room smell so fresh afterward." —nancy Promising review: "The cracked callus on my left foot became very painful. Regular, quality all-purpose moisturizers were not working. Trying to use my pedicure tools tools to remove callus was painful. After just a couple of days of using this product, I've noticed a big difference. I use it many times per day, and put a little extra on before sleep combined with a little layer of petroleum jelly over it." —Sean K. Promising review: "Amazing. Now, I know the first pic is gross, but that just shows how bad my feet were; scrubbing, pedicures, and soaking all just made it worse until I found this cream! I mean, it seriously shows in the pics. The other big thing I noticed was how soft my feet were after using it! Too bad you can't tell that from the picture. Idk what makes this work so well, but it's a miracle! And yes, definitely wear gloves, and you're good to go." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $16.99 (the kit includes a foot file and gloves; also available separately in a peppermint scent and an unscented, extra-strength option). You only have to leave the foot peel mask on for an hour, but just a heads up: These won't work right away! Peeling begins several days after the mask application (the process can take anywhere from 6–11 days overall), so be sure to have those catch-the-flakes socks ready. Promising review: "These work great, especially for this price. I've tried other foot peels, and while they were OK, they didn't work as well as these. I am barefoot a lot and have calluses on my feet, and also some splitting. I would soak my feet, use a stone, and use various medicated creams, but nothing helped like these. An hour felt like a long time, but within a couple of days, my feet were peeling much like the many pictures here, and the end result is the softest feet I've had in a long, long time. My only warning is that you may not want to do this if you are planning on a special event or even a yoga class that will expose your feet to others. It's not pretty, but it's a short time." —Mrs. B Get two pairs from Amazon for $19.99 (available in five scents and in a four-pack). Promising reviews: "This product delivers exactly as promised and is incredibly easy to use. I suffer from dry skin and often apply various products to soften my feet. With this, I simply spray it on and immediately massage it in with my hands. The dead skin comes off effortlessly. There's no waiting time, and it's gentle on the skin. It leaves my feet feeling exceptionally soft. This has quickly become my new favorite thing." —KimT "Wow, does this work amazingly! I discovered this from a TikTok video, and I am so pleased with how this works. It is literally like magic; my feet have never been this soft." —Brian Promising review: "Wowsa! I've owned other callus removers, and they don't compare. While I find the little light on it useless, I love that you can plug it in to charge versus going through batteries. I also like the variety of different files. Like others have mentioned, sometimes removing them from their plastic is difficult. I attach the file and then roll it to where I can see the perforated lines and then use nippers or tweezers to lift and tear an edge. My pedicures are so much nicer now. I don't have to endure all the tickling from scrubbing my feet. I live in a state where they are allowed to use things that look like cheese graters on your feet to remove calluses and while I haven't allowed them to use them on me. Now they have no reason to! By far this is the best callus remover out there! Do yourself a favor and order the extra heads too!" —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $23.99 (available in three colors). Promising review: "Twelve thumbs up. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. This thing is AH-MAZING. I’ve always had dry feet. Pretty much as long as I can remember. My husband used to like to joke that I could cut things with my feet. I just wasn’t blessed with super soft feet. After years of trying other products, I decided to give this a try. After one use, my feet are completely different. Soft and, dare I say, normal-looking. You can’t see dry skin or white skin like you used to. My heels don’t have cracks anymore. It’s just amazing. This got more skin off than anything I’ve ever tried ever. I wish I had taken a before picture because it’s truly amazing. If you struggle with dry feet, you have to give this a try!" —Amy Schlachter They're thin, flexible, and designed to be worn for several days if needed. Promising review: "Buy this miracle thing! I had no idea how this was supposed to work. All I had was pain under my foot, so someone suggested I use a callus remover... I thought it would’ve just softened the callus, but it did even better. I only wore this on the spot for about two days, then it got sufficiently wet in the shower and started coming off. I thought that was it... looked at my feet and it left a circle from where the callus remover once was... didn’t think much of it cuz hey, it’s under my feet, who cares... until a week later that entire circle fell right off!!! The entire thing was gone, left my foot smooth and renewed, and guess what, no more pain. I need one big enough to cover my whole foot lol. It’s great, I do recommend." —koko Get a pack of four bandages from Amazon for $5.97. Promising review: "My feet have been dryyyyy since having my kiddos (maybe hormonal, idk) and I've been using the metal grater regularly, lotions and creams nightly, pedicures with callus removal monthly, the list goes on. I'm shocked at how well these socks work! One time used so far and my feet feel amazing! Better than all the other things I mentioned. I didn't get the peel ones cuz I've done that once and don't feel like dealing with the peeling so I'm talking about the nom-peel moisturizing socks. Get them! 30 minutes of chilling with them before sleep time and you'll love your feet!" —EB Get two pairs from Amazon for $9.99 (also available in larger pack with four and eight pairs). Promising review: "I used to use one of those electronic foot filers, but I’ve had it for a long time, and it doesn’t work as well as it used to. I just recently bought this because in the summertime my feet start to peel really badly from wearing sandals and being in a chlorinated pool all the time. I used this ONCE and put lotion on afterward, and the shedding skin was GONE. Woke up the next morning to brand new feet. 🦶Definitely worth the buy!!" —Alexandra Dieter Promising reviews: "I've been dealing with a stubborn callus just inside the ball of my foot for months. I have to be on my feet most of the day and work out most days/week. Very painful, sometimes messes with my gait. OTC callus removers & homeopathic methods don't work. Most callus pads are too thin, provide no relief. I received these callus pads this morning, put one on, did a yoga routine, worked a full day, and walked the dog — zero pain, zero discomfort 10+ hours later. This is a game changer for me!" —MLC in NY "Following serious foot surgery, I developed a callus on the outside of my right foot. Despite numerous orthotics, it remained and was therefore subject to infection between podiatrist visits. NO MORE! The pads slow down callus development, and the risk of infection has disappeared. They adhere wonderfully and isolate the callus. Many thanks to Zen Toes!" —HG Get a 24-pack from Amazon for $14.99 (available in other multipacks). * Skincare Products That, Trust Me, You’re Going To Want ASAP * Skincare Products That Get A Lot Of Hype But Aren’t *Just* Hype * Beauty Products To Try If Dewy, Glowy Skin Is Your Ultimate Skincare Goal * Skincare Products Reviewers Say Leave Their Face Feeling “So Soft” * Sunscreens Reviewers Say Wear Really Well Under Makeup BuzzFeed Shopping is service journalism first: our writers and editors spend all day shopping so you don’t have to, vetting products, fact-checking brand claims, and surfacing what actually helps in real life.
