Sipping a glass of red at 10,000 feet just got way more fun.

Emily has been in the food and beverage industry for over a decade.

Trefethen Family Vineyards allocates some of its grown produce and cellar wines to its employees.

This glass of rosé from St. Supéry, one of the wineries currently featured on board, was wonderfully crisp, refreshing, and flavorful.

Silver Oak crafts some of Napa's most impressive Cabernets, and its focus on sustainability is top-notch. Its full, complex Cabernet will be on board Delta One's flights, with dark-fruit, spiced, and toasted-coconut notes.

We got to visit Trefethen back in March. Not only are the grounds and the historic building's interior absolutely stunning, but we also got to experience a multi-course lunch beautifully paired with the vineyard's wines. Family values are peppered throughout all of the practices here. This is another Cabernet you'll find on Delta One, and you'll find plentiful dark fruit notes alongside hints of molasses and plum.

Crossbarn has been a revered winemaker for decades, and for good reason: You'll find no corner-cutting in its practices, and its tightly controlled production methods consistently yield flawless results. You'll be able to order its Pinot Noir on Delta One flights, which sees bright fruit giving way to a smoky, spiced finish.

We also got to tour St. Supéry's expansive vineyards while in Napa. Delicate, classy wines were provided as accompaniments to small bites, and it came as no surprise that this winery is known for its outstanding hospitality. St. Supéry's Sauvignon Blanc is now in-flight, and its bright citrus and passionfruit notes make for an especially refreshing sip.

Freemark Abbey's stunning vineyards have been around since 1886. Its expansive history helped it stand out to Delta One, but the airline was also impressed by the winery's sustainability innovations. You'll be able to taste its Chardonnay the next time you fly Delta One, and if you like buttery baking and tropical fruit notes, this is the wine for you.

Patz & Hall caught Delta's eye because it produces a couple of really exceptional varietals in its vineyards. Its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay expressions receive particular praise. Patz & Hall's Chardonnay is available for order on Delta One; you'll find plentiful marzipan, lemon, and pineapple notes in this wine.

CVNE, a Spanish winery, has implemented sustainability efforts to be envied by other vineyards. Its renowned Reserva Rioja will be available on Delta One flights, and it's not one to be missed — this wine has won awards worldwide.

France's Jean-Marc Brocard winery is a big player in the organic wine game, and even has 40 hectares of biodynamic property as well. Its Petit Chablis, with abundant floral notes and a lemon-forward finish, would be a wonderful in-flight wine.

La Fête du Rosé is made using traditional French winemaking practices, but don't worry — this famous St. Tropez wine is anything but old. It's also the only rosé that will be featured on Delta One flights.

Ontañón crafts its wines with a sustainability-forward mindset and a heavy focus on Riojas. Its Reserva Rioja will be on board Delta One flights, with dark berry and some spice notes sure to warm any cold traveler right up.

Erica and Kim Crawford have been in the wine biz for a while, and their estate-grown, organic wines are a clear display of their expertise. Loveblock's juicy, silky Sauvignon Blanc with notes of peach and papaya will be featured on Delta One flights.

Laurent Bourret's Sancerre wines deserve more recognition, so it's a delight to see them featured on Delta One's flights. You'll find plenty of citrus notes in this wine, accented by floral and tropical fruit flavors.
