Promising review: "These are the best rice cookers! Not cheap, but long-lasting and well worth the money. I wanted to replace my Zojirushi 10 cup with a much smaller one. Wasn't sure this one would be as good as my 10 cup (10 year old) one, but it works just as well. This one is perfect for my needs now. Small footprint, cooks perfect rice everyt ime. Love it." —Rosanne

Promising review: "This mixer will change your life! I went from making French macarons all by hand to using this standing mixer, and I feel like a new baker! This mixer will definitely transform your practice and baking game; everything has become 100% easier! I suggest cleaning each part (three attachments, guard, and bowl) with mild soap and warm water, then cleaning the bowl with a baking powder paste to remove the gray metal polish that is applied at the factory. I was amazed at how gray the paste turned once I started rubbing it in the bowl. Glad I didn't ruin my first batch of macaron shells. So far, the only con is the price, but having the right tools makes baking SO much more enjoyable and productive." —Mr. P

Promising review: "Love this hand mixer! Not only does it work great, but it matches my kitchen perfectly — the Empire Red is such a fun pop of color. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and has plenty of power for everyday mixing. I like the different speed options, and it handles everything I’ve needed so far without any issues. Reliable, cute, and practical — definitely a great addition to my kitchen!" —MRMITCHAM

Promising review: "I purchased this to make ice cream for my child who can't have dairy. A pint of dairy free ice cream around where I live generally cost about $5. I can make a full 24 oz container of ice cream for less than that. It also widens the variety of ice cream/frozen treats available to him. I can also make a higher protein version for his brother. I recommend this product to anyone who has any dietary restrictions/ special dietary needs that enjoys ice cream/frozen treats. The ONE thing I dislike about it is that it sounds like a jet engine taking off as it runs. It's loud. Nothing I can't deal with but it's not convenient to use if anyone is asleep." —JessicaSB

BuzzFeed editor Maitland Quitmeyer says, "I bought this set a few Prime Days ago, and it's one of my favorite Prime Day purchases ever. I LOVE these containers."

Promising review: "For nearly all of my adult life, I was simply getting Gladware or Ziplock, letting them slowly deteriorate over the course of a few months, recycling them (or losing them), lather rinse repeat. It finally occurred to me to splurge on some good ones. I'm not one to review things very often, let alone food storage containers, but here we are. I've been so impressed and satisfied with these in just a few months that I feel compelled to tell y'all about them. They're super airtight, the plastic is crystal clear, and they've each been through the wash a dozen times with no particular sign of wear and tear yet. Usually by this point, the Ziplocs are cloudy, warped, have holes, etc. But these guys, they just keep ticking. We've put soup directly in them, frozen them, you name it. Worth the extra few bucks to keep a few more items out of the landfill." —Eric Beneau

Price: $79.99 (typically $109.99; smaller sets are also on sale)

Promising review: "This knife set exceeded my expectations. The knives are extremely sharp, comfortable to hold, and make slicing, chopping, and dicing effortless. The built-in sharpener is a fantastic feature that helps keep the blades in excellent condition. The block is sturdy, looks great on the countertop, and keeps everything organized. The knives feel well-balanced and are made with high-quality materials. Overall, this is an outstanding knife set that offers excellent performance and great value. Highly recommended. Promising review: "Bought this product on sale, and it was worth the investment. It blends better than any other blender that I have had. Its multiple options allow for anything from smoothies to purees. I love that I can make soup with this blender. It has plenty of power and a large enough volume to make plenty for a small household. It is also easy to clean! If it is on sale, and you need a better blender, I definitely recommend it. Otherwise, it is very expensive at full price." —Daniel & Amanda

Promising review: "So far, I’m really loving this trash can after two months. It fits into my space perfectly, the inside containers are easy to remove to change out the bags, and the pedal/door mechanisms work great. I like that the lids are flush with the top of the unit (my cats sit on them a lot), but that they’re plastic and lighter weight for the hinges to work properly. I’m hoping this lasts for many years because I really love having a single trash can for both recycling and regular trash like this. Also, I like that the metal surface is magnetic for a magnetic motion light to be stuck to it. Definitely recommend!" —Julie

Promising review: "The quality of this knife for the price is truly incredible. I've used professional-grade chef's knives from well-known brands like Calphalon, and this one holds its own. The craftsmanship is so close to these prestigious brands that you'd be hard-pressed to spot the difference. My first impression is that this knife is an absolute steal, though I'm curious to see how it holds up over the long term. It has a satisfying weight of over 200g, providing excellent balance and control. The beautiful blade is incredibly sharp, making kitchen tasks — like slicing through meat — feel effortless. The handle is remarkably comfortable and feels sturdy. For its performance, feel, and aesthetics, this knife is a perfect 10/10." —JhonSnow777

Promising review: "I've been really happy with the Breville Barista Express espresso machine. The stylish design and built-in grinder make me feel like a true coffee connoisseur. The quick heat-up time and adjustable grind size make it easy to customize my perfect shot. And the programmable shot volume ensures consistent espresso shots every time. Plus, the bonus of being able to claim the title of 'at-home barista' is a definite plus. Highly recommend this machine to any coffee lover out there!" —Ashleigh Johnson

BuzzFeed editor Melanie Aman says, "My partner and I had been on the fence about upgrading our coffee setup to include an espresso machine, but were always a bit leery about the price. Would we use it enough to make it worth it? Would it be a hassle to use? Would it take up a good chunk of our kitchen counters?

"Let me say that we are kicking ourselves for not getting one sooner! While this was a very thoughtful gift for my partner's birthday from his family, it is truly worth the price tag and is something I would totally repurchase with my own money if I ever needed to. We've used it pretty much every day since we got it, which means that the amount we've saved on espresso drinks at NYC coffee shops has pretty much covered the price of the machine. TBH, I don't even want to go get coffee elsewhere unless it's a super fancy, seasonal latte that I can't make at home.

"Using the machine is incredibly easy: It turns on with the push of a button and is ready to use in seconds — no waiting 20 minutes for the machine to warm up! The touchscreen, which I didn't think I needed initially, is a huge reason that I would recommend splurging on this model over its cheaper cousin, the Breville Barista Express (which is also on sale and a fan favorite, so still a solid option!). It's nice to toggle through the menu to select the drink you want. And the touchscreen walks you through each step, so the process doesn't seem so intimidating. You can even save custom drinks once you find the settings you like. This has been a truly delightful addition to my kitchen, and if you're on the fence like I was, do it, do it, do it! You will not regret it!"

Promising review: "This is the best coffee maker I’ve ever owned. We’ve switched around with some of the K-Cup and capsule-type brewers and have always been very disappointed in the coffee quality and value. All I can say is this machine makes phenomenal coffee drinks with your choice of beans. Once we figured out how much money we were spending on sub-par capsules from a well-known manufacturer, we realized we could get much higher-end coffee at a much better price. Our machine will pay for itself in about a year based on how much coffee we drink and the money we save from not having to buy overpriced, subpar capsules." —Dan

Promising review: "I'm very happy with these pans. I have had Teflon-coated pans, and they never seem to remain nonstick for very long, despite being careful with them. I have tried other anodized pans and ceramic-coated pans, but none compared to the quality and non-stick properties of these. These pans are sturdy, durable, and very nonstick. The handles are not the most comfortable, but they are strong. There are two fasteners inside the pan that connect the handle to it. The fasteners are not nonstick, but overall, the pans are terrific. These are great products!" —Paul M

Promising review: "Awesome ninja. So far, I have cooked bacon, hamburgers, thick steaks, and salmon fillets. All came out perfect with little effort. Used the highest temperature on broil, lowered it toward the end to 450. It marked well, seared great, and everything was juicy. This unit is very easy to use, very intuitive, and easy to control. Clean up? Just rinse or soak the dripped, crusted pan, and the dishwasher does the rest. Wipe the rest as needed, but there is no mess. Now, this thing does not smoke but still produces a cooking smell, so use it under the hood, or your house will smell. Can't wait to make my sweet potato fries in it. Honestly. It does replace the oven for daily cooking. Money well spent. Great price. Couldn't be happier." —Helena M.

Promising review: "I have been using Zero Water products for the last seven years. I have sulfur well water that tastes absolutely horrible. We were always buying bottled water, which became expensive, was a pain to store, and difficult to keep on hand. I also hated that I was contributing to the plastic water pollution in our landfills. This pitcher takes out the minerals from my well and tastes great!! It will fit easily in a refrigerator, but I have a plastic pitcher I put the water into that I keep in the fridge, which allows me to continuously filter water. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the refrigerator or countertop. Everyone in my home is a water drinker, and we easily drink over 150 ounces of water a day, and this filter keeps up with our usage with no problem. The water meter is great to keep an eye on when the filter needs to be replaced. Our well water is a 35 on the meter, and we replace our filter about every six to eight weeks. City water normally has a higher number on the meter, so I'm not sure how often it needs to be replaced when you have city water. The replacement cartridges might seem high, but if you are buying bottled water, you will be saving in the long run. I have a thermos of this water wherever I go. I even carry it with me into most restaurants because I absolutely hate city or fountain water. I love this item, and as long as they keep making them, we will keep using it!!" —Elissa

This air fryer is a game changer. You will not be sorry if you get it. If and when this one breaks, I'll be buying another one. That's how much I love it." —annie

Promising review: "My family and I are heavy coffee drinkers. So I will admit this is my third coffee maker currently in our kitchen. We also have a coffee maker that brews coffee by the pot. We have a small Keurig. Now, with the addition of the Nespresso Vertuo, I feel like we have everything we need for a great home coffee experience. The Nespresso Vertuo would be all that you would need. I mean, I really don’t need to have three coffee makers!

"I love how it does iced coffee, espresso, and regular coffee. I am very pleased with the variety of the pods. I think it does a great job. The taste of the coffee is really good. I love the tasty, frothy crema that it puts on my coffee; none of my other coffee makers do that. I also like how it makes it very easy for you to adjust to fit many different sizes of coffee cups. You could also fit a very small espresso cup near the top, which I did not demonstrate in the photos. Additionally, I am so pleased with the color selection it comes in. I found the perfect match for my kitchen. I think it’s convenient that it pops the pods back into a holding area. The design feels well thought out to me!" —Mindy H.

Promising review: "I'd give 10 stars for this portable hot lunch box if I could! I stopped using the microwave in December 2020 and have found slight hindrances when needing to heat up my food. I've tried an e-hot plate, yet it burns the bottom of my Pyrex and thermal lunch bagsor keep the food warm. Thank you DASH Hot2Go, you have saved my home-cooked meals and planning. Once I cook my food and place it in the stainless steel storage container insert, the food stays warm for about an hour. About 15 minutes before I take lunch in my office, I plug in my DASH Hot2Go, and my food is piping hot. I look forward to pivoting to the cold ingredients when the season arises. The handle serves as the locking mechanism for the lid to avoid spillage. One of the BEST purchases thus far. Bon appétit!" —MK

Promising review: "I've used the Cuckoo 10-cup pressure rice cooker for a while, so I was excited to try this smaller model. What I love most is that it's compact but can still make up to six cups of cooked rice, which is more than enough for my needs. I have a lot of kitchen appliances, so it's nice to have a rice cooker that's easy to store when it's not in use. It also looks really cute on the counter because of its compact size. Most days, I cook white rice, and this cooker makes the process incredibly simple. I just wash the rice, select the mode, and press start. The rice is ready in about 30 minutes and comes out great every time. I think this is the perfect size rice cooker for a small family of two to four people. Honestly, I wish I had a rice cooker like this when I was a college student." —Saeng Douangdara

Promising review: "I bought this set along with a few additional pieces back in 2009. This set has held up wonderfully. I cook a lot, a whole lot! I’ve cooked countless meals for my family (including two hungry boy teens, husband, friends, and family) with this cookware. It performs fantastically! Food does not stick, and it’s easy to clean. It holds temperature perfectly. When my college-age son, who is in grad school, wanted a good set of pots and pans this year for Christmas, I was amazed that this was still available! The exact same set was for sale in 2025. He was excited to get such a great set! I feel it will truly last him a lifetime. These pots have been thrown into the cabinet and not pampered. No dents. No defects. Still work perfectly after all these years. My daughter-in-law cleaned them up really nicely (the bottoms of all pans get discolored over time). They looked brand new. Light scratches inside from years of cooking, but that doesn’t affect the performance. I don’t baby my pans. They are workhorses in my kitchen. I will probably be gifting another set to my other son next year. Great job, Cuisinart! 10/10 A+++" —ShellH

Promising review: "I recently purchased the Ninja Compact Kitchen System, and it's been a fantastic addition to our kitchen. The 1200W power is perfect for making smoothies, effortlessly crushing frozen fruit and ice, and the Auto-IQ technology makes it super easy to use with its intelligent blending patterns. My wife, who's a chef, was particularly impressed with how well it performs, especially with the versatility of switching between the blender and food processor functions. The 18-ounce single-serve cup is a convenient feature for quick, on-the-go smoothies, and I love that extra cups are inexpensive, allowing us to make multiple drinks for guests or different flavor combos in no time. Cleanup is a breeze with the dishwasher-safe parts, and the included recipe guide offers great inspiration. Promising review: "After years of using my Magic Bullet, I decided it was time for an upgrade and chose a Ninja blender because I’ve always known Ninja to be a higher-quality brand. One of the main reasons I switched was that I wanted a larger cup size so I could make bigger smoothies without having to split them into multiple batches. The price of this blender also felt very fair for the quality and brand reputation, which made the decision even easier. One thing I really appreciate about this blender is how straightforward it is to use. There is essentially no assembly required and no complicated buttons to figure out. You simply screw the blade topper onto the cup, place it onto the machine, and press down to start blending. The only downside to this design is that you can’t operate it hands-free — you do have to hold it in place while it blends. That said, it works incredibly fast. It didn’t even take a full minute to completely blend frozen fruit, ice, and the other ingredients in my smoothie. Another feature I liked is that this set came with three cups and multiple lids, including tops that make it easy to drink your smoothie on the go. Having the extra cups is convenient if you’re making drinks for more than one person or prepping ahead. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase and feel like it was a worthwhile upgrade from my Magic Bullet." —Sydney

The first time I realized it had been sitting for 30 minutes, my brain told me the coffee was going to be cold, and I remembered I had this cup now, and I had a temperature-perfect sip waiting for me. I do not take it off the base much during the day, but when I do, I love that it gives me enough battery to enjoy the rest of my cup before returning it to the charging base. I will also keep the cup heated while charging, so you don't have to worry about it losing battery while you are using it. If you do plan on taking it off the base for more than an hour, having a lid will prolong the battery life. I use the lid from my Yeti tumbler, it fits perfectly. Promising review: "This coffee grinder is AMAZING! Last year, I bought the Breville espresso maker. Been very happy with the new level of brewing. Was ready to take the next step on fresh grinding, and hubby got me his for Christmas. Right out of the box, I added the beans and Voila- tried not too fine espresso grind, adjusted the time down a bit, and now in just seven seconds have perfectly filled the puck. The fact that you can simply push in the puck to start the grind is a neat feature! Once you dial this in, no need to use the tool; you'll get the right amount every time (after tapping). It is not even very messy, and the neat, removable tray underneath you can quickly tap off any excess grinds. It's also smaller than I thought and a nice companion to the machine. I had taken the advice of someone else and decided to keep these machines separate in case of any problem with either one of them. I am VERY pleased. It's a whole new coffee game!" —NissaMF

But I have been able to shove a small chicken in here with root vegetables, slow cook marrow bones, make some really nice soups just leaving this in the oven on low heat. Have been able to braise meats to my expectations. No issues with finish, though these are early days, I am happy with the color. The one and only downside is that the handles are ever so small for my meat mitts. I occasionally get a knuckle sorta stuck in there, but again, big hands. Handles will be fine for 99% of folks, and just a minor inconvenience for the rest of us. I am happy with this product." —Aaron

Very easy to clean if you have any messes while filling the bag. It's versatile, and good with smooth purees and with stews/curries with chunks." —Ujwala S
