And things got pretty heated online, too.

Earlier in the episode, new arrival Twinks, a 36-year-old fashion stylist, revealed that she identifies as a witch, explaining during a conversation in the garden that, for her, the practice is connected to matriarchal strength rather than the negative stereotypes often associated with witchcraft.

Another discussion then turned to some of the contestants' views on the “dark arts”, with Omar joking about his fear of being turned into a frog.

Twinks also revealed that her mum has become a trans ally, prompting Omar to ask what the term “ally” means.

The conversation then moved on to questions surrounding transgender people and access to toilets, as well as transgender participation in sport.

"We have to protect community at all costs" Twinks entered the Big Brother House and stood her ground. #BBUK pic.twitter.com/Qd9nCBNgD8

How as a society we went from Nadia winning Big Brother in 2004 to having to have this conversation about actually just respecting trans people in 2026!? https://t.co/h617rUesw8

interesting that people who know literally nothing about trans-ness will still jump to question things like public bathrooms and sports, it's like their knowledge of the whole community is founded on a smear campaign, not on any of their own lived experience or research. https://t.co/Flhml6FTFR

Twinks is literally just giving her opinion and the entire house thinks she’s plotting because she thinks trans people should have rights my god they’re all insufferable #BBUK

why is twinks being blamed for the conversation about gender and inclusion when it was literally omar who started asking stupid question? i’m tired of women being automatically at fault in this house #bbuk pic.twitter.com/y8BFAYx5rJ

This episode has painted a lot of people in quite a nasty light #bbuk
