Al Roker skipped out of “Today” early on Monday without telling viewers, but don’t worry: The reason is very relatable.

The morning show’s longtime weatherman did the forecast in the early part of the show, but meteorologist Dylan Dreyer stepped in for the rest of the broadcast.

Savannah Guthrie acknowledged the switch-up, explaining that Roker “had to leave a little bit early” without offering any further information.

Roker still wasn’t on set during the show’s third hour, prompting Craig Melvin to promise that “he’ll be back tomorrow.”

Roker later took to Instagram to explain his sudden departure from the airwaves ― and it was very relatable.

“Well, got out of the ‘Today Show’ early because I’ve got jury duty. It’s everybody’s civic duty to do your duty.”

He added: “I said duty twice!”
