Taylor Lautner just stepped into his latest role: father.

The “Twilight” alum, 34, and his wife, Tay Lautner, 29, announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday that they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lennon Taylor Lautner. She was born on Sept. 16.

“One week loving our sweet little Lenny,” the couple captioned their post alongside an adorable photo of their bundle of joy sporting a light pink onesie.

The pair’s announcement comes after Tay weighed in last month on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast over whether she was considering also naming their baby Taylor. The expecting mom joked that the internet might “cancel” her if she didn’t keep their namesakes for their child.

The Lautners, who tied the knot in 2022, first announced their pregnancy in a cheeky Instagram post in March.

“What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” the pair captioned the post alongside a photo of him kissing his wife’s pregnant belly as she held sonogram images in her hand. In other photos, the couple embraced in a scenic grassy field.

They later announced in June that they were expecting a baby girl.
