Jon Stewart hit back at President Donald Trump on Wednesday over his recent “ego enemas” including his threats to close the Kennedy Center for good and demolish it unless his name is plastered on it.

“Maybe the reason why he’s fucking our country up so bad is that we haven’t allowed him to etch his name on it,” floated Stewart on the latest episode of his “Weekly Show” podcast.

“And maybe, if we just did that, if we just gave into it, he would take the metaphorical tarp down from the whole country and we could all flourish.”

Stewart’s comments arrive just over a week after Trump confirmed his handpicked board’s decision to immediately close the Kennedy Center due to “safety reasons” after a federal judge blocked efforts to slap his name on the celebrated institution, a “living memorial” to the 35th president.

The Trump administration has argued in court that the Kennedy Center “cannot survive” without the help of the current president and, thus, he deserves “prominent recognition” on the building for such efforts.

On Thursday, a federal judge ordered the administration — led by a president who has made a habit of naming things after himself — to provide a 30-day notice to the court should there be any proposed “demolition.”

Stewart said the government could always strip the president’s name from the new “Trump United States of America” once he leaves office.

“Let him make the coins, let him make the flags and then maybe he’d treat us a little better,” Stewart said.

The comedian, after producer Brittany Mehmedovic mentioned Trump’s “big win” in his state-run Trump TV channel, recalled a time when presidents weren’t always on the air “like a car alarm when you’re trying to sleep.”

“Like, it wasn’t that incessant, rhythmic — other presidents didn’t always dominate all the airwaves,” he said.

“Like, we’re all living Trump TV. Why do you need another Trump TV?”
