Roseanne Barr tore into one of her former co-stars this week, deeming him a “brainwashed bigot” after he recently shared his unvarnished thoughts on the demise of the 2018 “Roseanne” revival.

In a Wednesday appearance on the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast, Barr took aim at actor Michael Fishman ― who portrayed D.J. Conner on both the original “Roseanne,” which aired from 1988 to 1997, and the 2018 revival ― in a fiery rant.

“He fucking doesn’t even fucking know what I said, even though I’ve explained it 10,000 times for nine years on the Internet,” she said. “He hasn’t even taken the time to listen to what I say because he is a bigot. And he’s a brainwashed bigot.”

Barr continued to hurl expletives as she described how she responded when Fishman asked her to explain the racist comments she’d made, prompting ABC to pull the plug on the “Roseanne” revival after just one season.

“I told him, ‘Let me explain this, Michael, go and fuck yourself and stay fucked ‘till the day you die. Don’t put my name in your fucking mouth, shut the fuck up,’” she said. “‘You are an ignoramus and a bigot, and you have no idea what I said because it contradicts the Democrat Party platform that you’ve had shoved down your throat and up your ass. So just fuck you. You have no geopolitical context whatsoever to discuss what I said.’”

Last month, Fishman posted a video to Instagram in which he responded to a comment from a follower who defended Barr for making “the usual jokes a comedian makes,” only for America to “backstab” her.

Calling the comment “ignorant and inaccurate,” the actor said, “I guess the world failed to learn the lesson, so I’m going to point out — we are perpetuating a lie, and people are using a political smoke screen to justify the indefensible.”

“Sadly, in this case, there was no joke,” he continued. “And the show was rightfully canceled.”

Barr and Fishman were among the many “Roseanne” actors to reprise their roles on the revival, which premiered to massive ratings in March 2018. Critics also praised the new series, comparing it favorably to the original as an honest portrayal of a white, blue-collar American family.

However, ABC abruptly canceled “Roseanne” in late May of that year after Barr likened former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, who had served under President Barack Obama and is a Black woman, to an ape. She made the offensive statement amid a series of posts on X, which was then known as Twitter.

After canceling “Roseanne,” ABC announced a spinoff series, “The Conners,” which aired from 2018 to 2025. Fishman exited that show at the end of its fourth season in 2022.

An outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, Barr did not appear on “The Conners,” but has nonetheless maintained her incendiary presence on social media. In recent weeks, she’s fired off criticisms at New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and other Democrats.

Elsewhere in her “Can’t Be Censored” appearance, Barr said she’s completed work on a new series, which she described as “a modern-day fable” and “the greatest fucking show that’s ever been.”

“It’s the show I should’ve been able to make if everybody wasn’t a confederacy of dunces,” she said, though she did not divulge the series’ title nor reveal her plans for its distribution.
