Jimmy Fallon discovered that getting dish from Tom Cruise on his night with Taylor Swift at the game was almost a mission impossible. But he got a few tidbits.

On Thursday’s “Tonight Show,” Fallon showed a photo of Cruise and Swift sitting side by side at the Kansas City Chiefs’ season debut on Monday.

“When the biggest movie star in the world is sitting next to the biggest artist in the world, what do you talk about?” Fallon asked the “Top Gun” star.

“She was schooling me on football,” Cruise replied.

The actor, who was promoting his new movie “Digger,” also said it was his first game since pre-COVID and “was a lot of fun.” Oh, and Swift told him that her husband, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was “so patient” in explaining football to her.

Quipped Cruise: “I said, ‘I’m sure he was.’ I think everybody would be very patient.”

Other than that, the matinee idol’s account of their evening together was short on details and long on superlatives.

“She’s a genius,” he said. “I’ve been following her since she was a kid.”

He gushed about Swift and Kelce’s family and friends in the booth, and called the newlyweds a “beautiful couple and magical in their own right.”

He kept the compliments coming.

“She’s funny,” he said. “She’s got such a great sense of humor. A brilliant writer also. Brilliant. Brilliant musician and director. Very skilled.”

Fallon then veered the conversation to fan theories about “Digger.”
