Jimmy Kimmel said President Donald Trump’s inner circle is trying to get him to take the potential threat of AI seriously, but he’s not listening.

Even after industry insiders sounded the alarm about the technology, Trump dismissed those concerns as a “hoax.” But Kimmel said he has a way to get Trump to pay attention.

“Tell him ChatGPT is about to release the Trump-Epstein files,” he said. “I’ll bet a hundred bucks he’ll get Pandora stuffed right back in that box.”

Those are the files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was once close friends with Trump.

The president still has his die-hard supporters, even amid a cost-of-living crisis worsened by his war on Iran. Trump initially said the war would last just weeks. Seven months later, he claims Iran wants it to end.

“They’re getting decimated and they want to make a deal so badly. They call, ‘We want to make a deal,’” Trump said this week. “They’re not ready yet, I don’t think. But we could have a deal anytime we want.”

“Oh?” Kimmel hit back. “How about now? Now would be a good time for a deal. Or maybe we should wait until gas goes up to $30 a gallon.”

Then, the late-night host posed a couple of questions for Trump’s MAGA faithful.

“How is anyone still believing this?” he asked. “Is it possible that those red hats are too small and cutting off circulation to the brain?”
