Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) slammed high fuel prices while at a gas station and declared it was President Donald Trump’s fault in a viral video. The firebrand’s flair for theatrics boosted the clip to over 2.9 million views on X alone as she continued to excoriate the man she once worshipped. California diesel $8.49 but Georgia is $6.59, both RIDICULOUS!!!The fuel crisis is only just beginning. pic.twitter.com/HEE5i1TxM2 “All right, $8.49 for diesel in California,” she said in her recent post. “Let me tell you something. It’s $6.59 in Georgia. I don’t care if it’s Georgia or California. It’s way too high. This is ridiculous.” She added, “Look, everything you buy – your food, your supplies, all of your goods – gets delivered by diesel. The war in Iran has got to stop. This is Trump’s fault. This should not be this high. It needs to end. Ridiculous.” At a Wednesday rally, Trump said pain at the pump is “a very inexpensive price to pay for what we’ve done.” Greene has become a persistent critic of the president, even reveling in evidence that MAGA merchandise is on the decline. Their alliance shattered last fall. She challenged Trump over the Jeffrey Epstein files and the government shutdown. He branded her a traitor. Greene resigned from Congress, later declaring she was “done” with the Republican Party. She now calls herself “politically homeless.” By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
