Radio host Charlamagne Tha God peppered Vice President JD Vance and the Trump administration with questions on Thursday after the vice president appeared to beg voters earlier in the week for “another chance” ahead of the upcoming midterms.

“What happened with the chance you already have?” Charlamagne asked on Thursday’s “The Breakfast Club.”

“You’re the vice president right now. Donald Trump is the president right now. Republicans control Congress right now. I’m not the highest grade of weed in the dispensary, nor am I the strongest Avenger, but based on my calculations, this is the chance,” he continued.

Vance appeared on Wednesday’s episode of the “All-In” podcast to tout his administration’s accomplishments before the November midterms, urging Americans not to vote for Democrats and pleading, “Give us another chance, or give us another couple of years.”

Trump is facing disastrous approval ratings amid a nationwide affordability crisis — which he has repeatedly dismissed as a Democrat “con job” — and his ongoing war on Iran, which has contributed to spiking food and gas prices.

“I think voters have every right to ask a very basic question before anybody starts talking about another couple of years: What happened with the time we’ve already given you?” Charlamagne, born Lenard McKelvey, asked Thursday en route to eventually dubbing Vance the “Donkey of the Day.”

While Trump has generally dismissed his plummeting popularity and made the midterms a referendum on himself, Charlamagne suggested the elections won’t even directly reflect him or Vance — but what the administration has actually achieved.

“Eventually, there has to be an accounting,” he said. “You know what I’m thinking about as a voter? What did you promise? What did you deliver? What didn’t you deliver? What got better? What got worse? Is it working or is it not working?”

The Power 105.1 FM host continued, “If the Trump administration believes it has accomplishments it can point to, then point to them! OK? Make the case! I don’t give a damn about you pleading for another chance.”

Vance argued during his podcast appearance that the administration has done a lot. He touted tax cuts that ultimately appear to favor the rich, and Trump’s immigration agenda — which has resulted in multiple American citizens being fatally shot in the street.

Charlamagne called Vance’s request for “another chance” a “stupid thing for a sitting vice president to say,” and said it would be a “pleasure” to vote for the Republican Party in November if it were actually “doing the things you promised” before.

“But guess what?” Charlamagne explained. “Voters heard promises about affordability.”

He added, “We heard promises about lowering prices. We heard promises about affordable housing. We heard promises about peace and ending wars. Voters heard promises about making life better for working Americans — and none of those promises were kept.”
