We may never know why the universe tests us with hemorrhoids — all we can do is stock up on this cream and fight our battles.

I’m a resident writer on the BuzzFeed Shopping team covering a variety of topics in a fun and mindful way, including travel, home, beauty, gift guides, and anything that’ll add just a bit of whimsy into people’s lives.

Promising review: "I used this product years ago and had the most amazing skin, but I assumed it was mostly genetics. Now that my skin is showing signs of aging, I decided to give it another try — and I’m so glad I did. My skin is transforming daily. They say your skin can rebuild itself, and it really does — especially when you remove the buildup of dead skin cells. I’ve been using it morning and night, and I genuinely look younger. My skin feels polished, my pores are noticeably smaller, and I need much less makeup. Such a fantastic product — highly recommend!" —Sweet Caroline

Promising review: "I was skeptical after I sprayed this on my arm in a nice air-conditioned house. It smelled lovely, and a quick sting of mint hit my skin. I was very underwhelmed. It has been a warm day, and I took this outside since I knew I would be sweaty and warm. I sprayed this on my 'underboob' per package instructions. Holy wintery coolness! It’s been 10 minutes, and I’m still feeling the chill. Apparently, it works REALLY well if you’re sweating. It dries almost instantly, and I’m a tingly fresh still." —Michelle

Promising review: "You need a Squatty Potty. Let me rephrase that, you and the rest of the world NEEDS a Squatty Potty. Because let’s face it, who wants to be hunched over a toilet for 30 minutes to an hour, staring into their phone or reading miscellaneous shampoo bottles while waiting for their butt load to finally drop? NOT I, POPEYE. Not I. That’s why I changed my life by getting a Squatty Potty almost three years ago. Why am I writing a review now one might ask? Because dear reader, I’ve been too busy living life outside of the bathroom walls! Pooping takes no time at all now! Let’s face it, our ancestors had been squatting for eons. So what are we doing sitting all high and mighty on a porcelain throne with our legs dangling? We are designed to squat for optimal elimination. No this isn’t some gag product, or something you should skip out on. This is literally the best way to poop. I can really tell the difference when I’m not using one, and it’s not pleasant. You owe it to yourself to have the best poops of your life. SO TREAT YO SELF to this Squatty Potty. Step your 💩 game up!" —LesLeaLuvShopping

Promising review (for photos above): "Ok so long story short I should not do my own fake nails :/ Turns out my nails are not a fan and are prone to getting gross. This product worked AMAZING. It is not fast because you have to let the old gross nail grow off and that just takes time, BUT it does stop the spread and you can (with patience) grow off the gunk. I am hopeful that in another month my nails will be more or less [back to how they were]. I am sure my nail beds themselves will take a bit longer as the fungus caused my nails to separate from the nail beds, but that is fine. I am just glad this ick is clearing up and going away!! HIGHLY recommend. I actually think I will just keep this on hand and treat my nails with it after I use lotion, or polish or dig in the dirt to garden for safety. No one wants to go through this twice." —NatalieMCC

Promising reviews: "I am obsessed with these! As someone who suffers from frequent nausea, these are a lifesaver. I always bring one in my purse on any long car rides, plane travel, etc. I even keep one at my desk. This is my go to for nausea and it works pretty much immediately. I have recommended it to many people now who love it too. It’s easy to use and super small so easy to put in your pocket and have whenever you need it. Love that it is made with natural ingredients as well." —Heather

"Took this on my first cruise. Anytime that I started to feel woozy I’d reach for it. I’m sure the required act of deep breathing helped a lot — and breathing in the fragrance of the essential oil is very calming and effective. Worked for me! Wonderful!" —Willy&Lilly

Nivea recommends applying twice a day for best results. Read more about how Q10 benefits the skin from the National Library of Medicine.

Promising review: "I’ve been using this for a few years and love it! I had loose skin after losing weight, and this gel has been a game changer, with noticeable improvement in my skin’s texture and firmness in just a few weeks. I use this gel on my thighs, stomach, and underarms. I pair it with Nivea’s body lotion for the rest of my body. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. I switched over to another gel for a month a bit ago, and I noticed my skin returning to uneven firmness and texture. Once I went back to using this product, I noticed improvements within a few weeks again. So, this isn’t a cure, but with continuous use, results are maintained to keep my skin firm, moisturized, and even textured." —Morgan

It leaves such a silky matte finish between your thighs that feels so divine when wearing shorts or dresses. Trust that I have tried many, many products to beat chafing, and this is by far one of my top faves."

Promising review: "This is the holy grail of no chafing!!! I live by this in the summer, or anytime I have to wear swimsuits, shorts, dresses, or skirts. Goes on easily and does not feel greasy or gross on your thighs. It's unscented, so no strange smells. It also lasts for a long time — lasted all day for a Disney Trip. Best working stuff I have found, works much better than products that are in a deodorant stick style. To use, squeeze 5–10 ear drops in each ear then flush with water using the provided bulb syringe. Lots of reviewers suggest letting the drops soak in your ears at a 90-degree angle for up to 30 minutes for best results.

Promising review: "All that was inside my ears…. oh my god. I feel like a new man. I had a hard time hearing and really bad ringing in my ears forever, but flushing my ears out with these drops revealed why. I’m still in shock from how it felt to have and see all that leaving my ear canals, but I’m so glad I got these. $8 to help your hearing… don’t worry if you don’t see results until the fourth day. I thought most of it was out by then cause there was a minor amount of wax leaving my ears, but today, the last day, I realized there was so much more. It was really freaky but now I’m listening to Kid A by Radiohead and it’s like hearing it for the first time. Everything is truly in its right place." —Gabriel

Promising review: "I have been astounded by how nicely this has helped with drainage. My entire adult life I have woken with a puffy face and a thick feeling in my throat that lasts for hours as I sip a hot beverage and clear my throat like I'm starting a cold engine.... Since starting to use this brush, I sip water while I brush and by the time I'm done, so is that thick pleghmy feeling! My skin is visibly lifted and the bristles are so soft it almost feels like a massage. The handle is sturdy and I'm very pleased with the quality considering the reasonable price.

Promising review: "This is another absolute hit from Medicube. I’m 52 with post-menopausal, dry skin, and I’m very particular about body washes because so many leave my skin feeling tight or stripped. This one has been a standout for me. The first thing I noticed is the scent — a really nice, fresh citrus fragrance that feels clean and uplifting without being overpowering. It makes showering feel refreshing and a bit luxurious. The formula lathers well, rinses clean, and most importantly, it does not dry out my skin. My skin feels comfortable, smooth, and refreshed after using it, not itchy or tight. For post-menopausal dry skin, that’s a big deal. It feels like it cleans effectively while still being gentle and supportive, which is something I consistently appreciate about Medicube products. I use a lot from this brand, and they truly have yet to disappoint me. This is another win, and one I’ll definitely continue using and repurchasing." —TheFaceLadyG

Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines.

BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord uses these: "I've had one of these for awhile, and I love it! I usually use an electric toothbrush, but I feel like I'm getting a much more satisfying clean from these?? Especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively. I've switched to using this in the morning and the electric one at night and definitely see a difference in that area in particular."

Promising review: "This was another one of my TikTok purchases! I was skeptical but my kids hate flossing their teeth so thought this might help in between making them floss. They work amazing! My kids said they could see and feel a difference on the first use and I agree! They are definitely worth a try! I would suggest not pushing too hard, those tiny bristles really get in there and if you push too hard you nights be sore like I was. It felt like after going to a dental cleaning." —Amy N.

Promising review: "Literally the only toothpaste I use now. I cannot go back after using this. It makes my mouth feel so clean, without that spicy/burning sensation you get from other toothpastes. I have some moderate to major dental issues, specifically "dead" teeth. It is what it is, I've been working on getting it fixed, but my breath is not the best because of this issue. This toothpaste not only soothes tooth pain, it keeps my breath fresh for at least four to five hours! Amazing toothpaste, cannot wait to try more from this brand." —Jade C.

I’ve bought several eye creams (expensive brands) and never noticed a difference as fast as I’ve seen using this product." —Natalie

"Saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try since the price was amazing. OMG, buy it. I’ve always had dark circles under my eyes and now fine lines and crow's-feet. While this doesn’t completely eliminate my dark circles, the fine lines are really diminished. It wears extremely well under makeup and doesn’t feel cakey or like there’s a ton of product on." —K. Grant

Promising review: "I debated buying these for sooo long because I was worried all the TikTok reviews were over-exaggerated or fake. I’ve fallen for that before. But after months of trying different products, hoping they’d get rid of my stubborn bumps/clogged pores to no avail, I figured I didn’t have much to lose. No joke, I started seeing results after a couple of uses. Every time I use them, I wake up with the softest, glowiest, 'glass' skin I’ve been dying to achieve. I was skeptical at first use because they felt so gentle, but I was also relieved there wasn’t any stinging sensation on my very sensitive skin. I couldn’t be happier with the results. For reference, I have sensitive, combo skin and my main concerns were textured forehead, closed comedones/clogged pores." —Marissa S

Promising review: "Since starting, my bladder control has significantly improved. I am now able to sneeze or cough without peeing myself. Yes, that's right. I am able to hold my pee longer, which means I can actually make it to the bathroom without dribbling on myself. The best part is that just a few short weeks into the program, you will have results you can feel. I think every woman who has ever had kids should try this out. The overall quality of my life has improved. Ditch your panty liners, stop the embarrassing dribbles, and no more mad dashes to the restroom because of a weak bladder. Even my sex life has improved; I have control of those pelvic muscles now. Just remember to wash the weights before and after each use with an antibacterial spray, and allow time to air dry before putting them away. I say air dry because if you wipe them dry with a cloth, you run the risk of giving yourself a bladder infection or urinary tract infection, and those are no laughing matter. This comes with a kit containing 10 toenail braces and tools for application. Each brace lasts 3–6 weeks.

Promising review: "I used to be in sports all through middle and high school, and it really messed up my left foot overall, especially my big toe. I was always embarrassed by my big toe during the summer that I’d put a bandage over it to make it seem like it was injured. Finding someone to fix your toe is expensive, and I don’t have that kind of money at the moment. Started doing research on ways to do so, and this one was the best way. It does take some practice, but once attached, it should not move. Your toes will hurt for a day. Like a dense pain. Not sharp. I saw a difference in about two weeks. I’m a month in on the most severe toe, and no more ingrown toenail!" —Sandra L.

Promising review: "What is this sorcery? Okay, so I’m not gonna lie. I thought all of the before-and-after pics were fake, but I was desperate, so I bought this stuff anyway. I had been dealing with an irritation bump for almost three months that I couldn’t get rid of, so I did some research and tried a variety of home remedies, none of which worked. Then I stumbled upon the Briotech spray and saw the before and after pictures and wanted soooo badly to believe them. I also didn’t want to get my hopes up, so I wrote them off as fake. I bought this stuff anyway (again, I was desperate) and I’m SO glad I did. I bought it on Sept. 5th, and my bump (which was huge and awful) was completely gone on Sept. 25th. My mustache is darker and thicker, something I think a lot of women experience. I have been shaving for a while with a men's razor and shaving cream but it just couldn't give me a close enough shave. ENTER SCHICK SILK TOUCH-UP! Holy wow! I've been dry shaving my entire face and some of my neck with these and no irritation, plus it is the closest shave I have gotten. No pulling or scraping like other 'mini razors.' It's quicker than doing what I call a 'dad shave' in the shower, and I can see what I'm shaving because I'm at my makeup table and there's no shaving cream obstructing my view (I don't want to accidentally hack off the hair by my ears or forehead). Plus, I compared this to other (what I call) mini razors and it's twice the size. So very efficient for doing your whole face, easy for detailing those brows. I love this product and hope that they sell it forever. It works on my peach fuzz, mustache, and brows. Promising review: "I had a hideous wart on one of my left toes that just wouldn't go away. I tried cutting it off and applying a peeling solution to it, but it came back with a vengeance. It was a cause of irritation and embarrassment that I couldn't even wear slides or flip-flops over the summer. Until I found this product. Without even a month of using these medicated pads, the wart is gone! I have no complaints about the adhesion because it was completely intact after 48 hours of putting it on, despite getting it wet a lot ( I shower twice a day). Within a week of using these, the tough top of the wart started to peel off with the medicated pad. I decided to continue using the medicated pad to ensure the roots of the wart go away as well. Now, there are NO traces of the wart at all! I am super happy about this product and recommend it to whoever needs to get rid of an embarrassing wart." —Elaine Corpin
