As advertised, these do cut back on the amount of space in the bag, but I was most surprised by the other benefits. First, it allows me to easily pack in two, three, and four-day increments, each in its own bag. This makes it really easy to put complete outfits in my wife's bag in case mine gets lost. Secondly, I started rolling the clothes as well, which in the bags makes them laid out like crayons. This makes it easy to find specific items without sifting through layers of clothes. Sifting through clothes is a big reason my bag becomes a mess toward the end of the trip. Third, the bags make it really easy to unpack and repack. Finally, everything is well protected from bugs, spills, dust, sand, etc.. I will never travel over extended periods without these bags!" —Amazon Customer
