Read More You’re about to have a freshly cut-up pineapple without the $5 upcharge the grocery store charges to do it. I am a contributor and former BuzzFeed Shopping writer based in Cincinnati, OH where you can find me curating lists on ~a little bit of everything~ (and adding a few things to my own cart in the process). These are way easier to keep track of (and seal WAY better) than those silly plastic dongles that come on bread and English muffins. Promising review: "I hate bread ties. Normally, I would just twist the end of the bag and tuck the loose part under it in the cabinet. My wife doesn't, though. She twists the tie back on the bag. This wastes so much time and is annoying. I decided to find a solution: this. It's great. It's fast, effective, and reusable... Kind of pricey, but over time, I'm sure it will be worth it. For the last few months, it's definitely been worth it." —Ray Believeau Get a set of three from Amazon for $9.95. Check out a TikTok of the appliance sliders in action. Promising review: "These are a game changer! I have some heavy appliances, like my espresso machine and reverse osmosis filter, that I hate to pull out to fill with water. These tiny sliders have been incredible! Immediately better, and so far (about three months in), no issues at all. Still gliding!" —sara Get a set of eight from Amazon for $5.99+ (available in two sizes, four pack sizes, and three colors). Stacy Kitchen Decor is a California-based, woman-owned Etsy shop established in 2020 that specializes in handmade reusable kitchen towels, aprons, and bags. Promising review: "Love this bowl cover! It fits perfectly and looks so beautiful. It’s also sturdy, as I’ve washed it by hand and all the daisies are intact. I also appreciate the seller's prompt communication." —Nicoco Get it from Stacy Kitchen Decor on Etsy for $9.89+ (originally $14.13+; available in six sizes, multi-packs, and custom sizes, plus three patterns). Promising review: "I ordered these just to determine if we really needed under-cabinet lighting. I really wasn't expecting much because of the price. It is very easy to install, with five levels of brightness with the included remote control, timers for on and off, and a manual on/off switch in the connecting wiring if you don't use the remote. Standard 2025 button battery for the remote. I really don't know how they can be sold for the price I paid. Also received in two days. Update: I ordered two more packages to complete the required lighting. The electrical plug is much better since it does not stick out as far from the wall. Very pleased with these units." —Anthony E Spearman Get three 12-inch lights from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in two pack sizes and three colors). Elypro is a small business in New York City that makes clever organizational products for the home. Promising review: "I use these to organize my coffee mugs and my glasses in smaller cabinets. They not only look nicer, but they also save space without tilting when you try to stack mugs without support. I also use these to stack ramekins and that is also better now. These are adjustable to fit different sizes. I highly recommend these organizers!" —Amazon Customer Get a set of six (to organize 12 mugs) from Amazon for $24.99 (available in three colors). AND it's the perfect size if you reuse plastic shopping and grocery bags for garbage bin liners! Promising review: "So I saw this tiny trash can on TikTok, and I was moving into a tiny studio apartment and thought this would be perfect. Turns out it's one of the best things I've ever bought. I installed mine with the over-the-cabinet hooks (also comes with adhesive stickers) on my kitchen island, and it is so convenient I can't even express with words. The lid is on this nifty hinge, so you can open it by flipping the lid up or by sliding it forward, and it folds down out of the way. I usually keep it open while I'm cooking, but I can close it super quickly if I see the dog coming. There is a little pull tab for easy opening. It is so easy to use and easy to clean. It's also so cute! I use my plastic grocery bags as trash can liners for this and they fit perfectly. It comes with a roll of bags as well. The lid lifts off easily to change bags. Clicks back on easily over the new liner. Can't recommend this enough!! This is going on my list of 'best things I've ever spent my money on.'" —Ginger Get it from Amazon for $20.99+ (available in five colors). Promising review: "I love this item. All these years, I have been squeezing lemons and limes for recipes. I saw this one day while scrolling through kitchen gadgets on Amazon and I liked that it was going to keep the seeds from getting into my food. It is AWESOME! I wish I hadn't waited so long to get it. What I love most is that it squeezes SO MUCH juice out. I had an older lime that was as hard as a rock and very difficult to cut in half. Normally, I would just throw limes like this away. But I decided to try it with this tool. I couldn't believe how much juice came out! I love this and I am going to buy some more as Christmas gifts." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in 13 colors). Check out a TikTok of the collapsible whisk in action. Promising review: "Absolutely perfect. Easy to clean, easy to use, very sturdy. The whisk stays in the position quite well; it stows away quite flat. The perfect solution for a kitchen with limited storage!" —CMA01 Get it from Amazon for $8.98+ (available in two colors and two-packs). Promising review: "I'm a stickler about stale chips and have always used those little snapping clips. I thought they worked pretty well, but they really don't compared to Gripsticks. The snack that proved this the most was Pirate's Booty. If these are exposed to air for more than three minutes, they turn into styrofoam peanuts. I promise they're just as fresh as when you first open them with Gripsticks. They're going to be my go-to chip clips moving forward." —Rachel Campbell Get a set of 24 from Amazon for $24.95 (available in five set sizes). You can also heat up pizza slices, chicken nuggets, and more with it, meaning you'll have dinner ready in a matter of minutes. Reviewers say these are also great for anyone with a gluten allergy who needs to keep their bread separate in the toaster. Check 'em out on TikTok! Promising review: "We can't use toasters when we travel as our son has celiac disease. This makes using a toaster feasible for toast, waffles, and breakfast sandwiches. They are small and easy to bring along. Way easier than bringing our own toaster. :)" —Mar Get them from Amazon for $6.99+ (available in packs of 4 and 10). Psst — these come with optional sticker labels so you know which size bag you're grabbing! Promising review: "I like it very much. Not too large. Lightweight. Would look nice on top of the counter. What I like is that you do not have to wrangle the box into the slots. Simply pick up the roll of bags from their packaging and put them in the designated slot." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in three- or four-slot models and a family-size version). Cut off the top of your pineapple, twist the corer into the fruit (kind of like a wine bottle corkscrew), then pull it out. You now have a cored and spiral-cut pineapple in minutes! Promising review: "OMG! Why did I take so long to get one of these? I would typically spend two or three minutes slicing up a pineapple, and I LOVE pineapple, so it's pretty common for me. Now, I can do it in 30 seconds, and that was the first time, not knowing what I was doing or what to expect. I suspect I'll have this down to 10 seconds on the next go-round. Love IT! Oh, BTW, it is sturdy and seems like it should last a while." —riverseine Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in eight colors). Febu is a small business that specializes in earth-friendly, non-toxic home products. Promising review: "I love these! I have used these for years instead of a sponge or a dishrag. They hold up great, mop up crumbs and spills quickly, can be popped in the dishwasher to clean, and bring a bit of color to the sink area in my otherwise neutral kitchen." —Wynnefred Get a set of five from Amazon for $14.95 (available in 15 sets). Promising review: "This is my third one. One was recently melted on the stove burner by someone I seem to have married who doesn't yet know fire is hot. The other lasted through five years of heavy use. It did get pitted along the inside here and there; I don't know from what, but I suspect the aforementioned person. This folds absolutely flat and can be used as is or partially opened for a thinner cover to put over a bowl, say. Not difficult to clean since things don't really stick to it, but if you have a mess, it just takes a small second to make sure the folds and holes are all clean." —Ms. Windermere Get it from Amazon for $5.90+ (available in three sizes, three colors, and a three-pack). This also includes some accessories: an enamel baking tray and stainless-steel oven rack, air fry basket, BBQ-style rotisserie spit and forks, and a lift tool, all of which are dishwasher safe! Promising review: "This air fryer oven is amazing. I have only had this for a few weeks, but so far, it's so easy to use, it's scary. I was intimidated when I took it out of the box, but there was no reason to be. The oven is very smart and pretty much tells you what the temp should be. Love the fact that it remembers the last setting, especially for toast, as I'm pretty consistent with the amount and color. I also made two chicken breasts and roasted potatoes in it at the same time, and both turned out great. Potatoes were crispy with a nice skin, and the chicken breast was moist and juicy. I can't wait to try a few more things, but I can honestly say that it is my favorite go-to appliance." —Kathy Get it from Amazon for $249.99 (available in three other versions). This colander can expand from 14–19 inches. It's top-rack dishwasher safe as well! BuzzFeed Shopping editor Jenae Sitzes owns this in the pink color and absolutely loves it! "I don't leave it out on my sink permanently, but I've hung it right next to my sink using small Command hooks so I can quickly grab it and place it on my sink whenever I need to clean produce or drain pasta. I love being able to leave ingredients on it to drain while I work on other steps of a recipe, and it also leaves enough room in the sink for me to place dirty dishes or wash a pan without the dirty water going onto my clean ingredients. Highly recommend, especially for small kitchens!" Promising review: "I’m obsessed with this. I always leave it in my sink. It makes washing fruits or draining pasta so much easier and has such a simple cleanup. It also adds a nice pop of color to my kitchen. I highly recommend it." —Alyssa Get it from Amazon for $18.99+ (available in six colors and two-packs). Promising review: "I bake a lot of scones, and having this mold ensures an attractive, consistently sized result. It is sturdier than many silicone molds I use, but it is still flexible, so I place a pan underneath. The fact that it is silicone also saves money since I don't have to use parchment paper. You can literally pop out the scone, and cleanup is simple by hand or dishwasher, although I think better by hand." —Anne Snyder Promising review: "Wow, wow, wow, I have no words to describe how great this product is. I'm a mom with a large family who cooks and bakes all the time, and there is never a time that something doesn't spill over, even when standing and watching the pot. With this, life has just gotten easy. I think I'm throwing out all my pot covers after using this."—Rackel Get it from Amazon for $17.07+ (available in three colors and two-packs). Psst, as you can see above, this set also comes with a crumb catcher at the point where your stovetop meets your countertop! Promising review: "I've been using the foil ones, and while they do the job, they're not so nice to look at. I like that this is black, so it matches the original color of the appliances, but more importantly, I like that this has a larger surface area to catch the drips that the foil ones never could before. They're also trim to fit, so they get right up into each burner without leaving gaps where drips can burn, making it harder to clean. Time will tell if they're as durable/reusable as they claim. If they are, then I'll try to trim two of the spares to fit the center large burner. Overall recommended." —Michael Get an 8-pack from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in three sizes and a variety of colors). This comes with the brush that holds soap and a little dispenser you can set it on when you're not using it. Promising review: "I have to say, I wasn't expecting to be excited when this arrived. My last scrubber, from a manufacturer that will remain nameless, broke within two days, and all the soap leaked out if I set it bristles-down. I hate wasting money, so I used it until it was gross lol. So I read all the reviews and decided this model looked good. Well, slap me and call me stupid! I should have given up and bought this a year ago! This model not only holds the soap and has a little holder, but it also works so much better than last year's model; there can be NO comparison!! It's also comfortable for my arthritic hands. I definitely will recommend this to friends and family!" —Kekahagirl BuzzFeeder Elizabeth Lilly has these and says, "Yes, this is my kitchen cabinet, and this trick helps me find the correct measuring cup so much faster than back when I used to stack them in a drawer! Just be sure to account for the cups' depth while arranging the cabinet's contents. Since I took this pic, my 1/2-cup met its doom in a tub of sugar, so I swapped in some measuring cups with *engraved* measurements on the cups, which makes my setup even better!" Get a 10-pack of hooks from Amazon for $10.48. Promising review: "One of my biggest challenges as a single person is cooking. I prefer to make larger quantities — usually in my Instant Pot — and then separate them into servings and freeze them. Trying to freeze a lot of containers took too much space, so I decided to try freezer bags. Since it was a mess to put servings into bags, I ordered these bag clips to help, and they do. I mostly use sandwich-size bags, which fit well, and the stands hold the bag open so I can add the food. Then it is easy to freeze the bags flat for future use." —cymart Get it from Amazon for $9.98+ (available in different pack sizes). Each set also comes with a variety of labels and a funnel. Don't forget to grab some syrup! Promising review: "I absolutely love the look of these dispensers on my kitchen counter. These dispensers have an expensive feel and look. Added so much class to my countertop and blended perfectly with the current decor and items on the counter. The only change I would make is maybe adding an outline for where the perfect placement of the label should be on the jar. You really want them to be even and at the same height, but once they are on, they are on. I would still recommend this purchase to anyone! 10 out of 10. Gorgeous! These are stunning and I am in love." —Kevin Get a set of two from Amazon for $26.95+ (available in two sizes, two set sizes, and with or without a tray). Promising review: "This scale with a built-in cup is the best thing for my baking tools. No more whipping out 1,000,000 cups. Also, [rather than] always trying to figure out grams or cups, now I just press a button, and it tells me. I love this." —Corin lonigro Get it from Amazon for $19.98+ (available in three colors). And it's super easy to clean — just rinse it under water, and if there are any stubborn bits, use the included brush or the nifty cleaning device that lives inside the handle. Promising review: "I have carpal tunnel, so I like to minimize straining my muscles. I also have pretty small hands. This garlic press is really comfortable to use, albeit a little bit annoying to clean. I recently tried using a friend's garlic press, and the amount of force I needed to use really hurt my hands and wrists. If you've been avoiding getting a garlic press because you fear you lack wrist strength, this is the product for you. I'm never mincing or slicing garlic again." —Jamie Sarmiento The set comes with five containers and lids in three different sizes and a storage organizer. Promising review: "I’m loving my new storage containers. They are as good-looking as they are useful. I love the idea, I can microwave right from the refrigerator instead of transferring to a safe container!" —Patricia K. Get it from Caraway for $225+ (originally $310+; available in two quantities, six colors, and with or without inserts). Promising review: "This works great when scraping food off the side of jars. My kids love using it because it is cute and reminds them of Perry the platypus on Phineas and Ferb! I am just glad they are using it instead of throwing away the peanut butter jar, which probably had at least one more sandwich left in it." —Mom of 3 Boys Get it from Amazon for $14.95+ (also available in three other versions). Promising review: "I remember having a butter holder, exactly like this, for corn when I was growing up. It was nice to find the same one. No more having the butter slip off the corn when applying it with a knife. No more tricks like using a fork and having the butter melt through the tines, or how about buttering a slice of bread and wrapping it around the corn and spinning it. It’s also great that the butter is covered at one end by the plunger and the other end by a cover. This way, the butter will stay fresh and always ready for corn when you need it." —Allison * Kitchen Tools So Useful You’ll Wonder How You Ever Survived Without Them * Reviewers Are Singing The Praises Of These 33 Cool Kitchen Gadgets * If You’re Basically Discovering Your Kitchen For The First Time, May I Introduce These 27 Products * Upgrade Your Kitchen Without Breaking The Bank: 42 Items That’ll Transform Your Cookspace * Space-Saving Products That’ll Help Make Your Small Kitchen Work For You Plus, barstools and finds from Ikea, Sur La Table, Walmart, and Wayfair.
