Adding a tongue scraper to your hygiene routine is truly groundbreaking. Trust me.

As a Deputy Editorial Director for BuzzFeed’s shopping team, I love to get into the weeds of why a product’s worth the money by deep diving into customer reviews, and product-testing as much as possible.

There are some things that'll outlive us all (like the Vera Bradley duffel bag I got for high school graduation), and then there are others that may have the potential to last for years, but you feel pretty meh about them and consider decluttering them after a few uses. I bought these more than a year ago before I went on my first-ever cruise, but didn't need to use them. They've been kicking around the front pocket of my go-to travel backpack since, so I had them handy when I recently went on a driving-heavy (we're talking 1,600+ miles over five days) trip with my parents. My mom suffers from vertigo and it was really hitting her once we set out on the road. I remembered I had these, and she switched to the back seat and wore them the whole trip because they made such a big difference! Now, did it make driving up the side of the Colorado National Monument's Rim Rock Drive with 23 miles of switchbacks and soaring heights less scary? Eh. Idk. But it made it less woozy! (The drive is absolutely worth it, btw.)

File this as another item that I've included in what feels like a million travel stories and finally tried out for myself. I always thought, "Why bother with a razor that's not THAT much smaller than a regular one?" Then I booked my first cruise and heard a bunch of horror stories about limited cabin and bathroom space. It didn't take up too much room on the minuscule shower shelf so I wasn't fighting for space *as* much while feeling like Buddy The Elf in the shower.

I took these on a cruise. They were super easy to slip into my super-packed suitcase and plenty sturdy for holding up a variety of stuff. In my pic above, you'll see one collapsed and then one in use, with dips perfect for spaghetti or thin straps. So many hotel and rental places' hangers don't have those little dips, and my slip dresses (I own four of this one!) are always slipping off of them. With these, I was able to put a variety of garments on them without anything slipping off — in fact, they work better at that than my regular velvet hangers I have at home!

I have VERY narrow kitchen drawers in my NYC one-bedroom apartment kitchen and buying one of these organizers has transformed my cutlery drawer.
