Happy birthday, to F you.

“Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost turned 44 Monday, which makes his zodiac sign cancer. So, it’s only fitting that his co-star Michael Che celebrated by showing his claws.

And by that, we mean that Che published a savagely brutal birthday post about Jost on Instagram Monday — and it’s pretty funny … if one’s aware of the duo’s annual joke swap on “Weekend Update.”

“Happy bday to my good buddy, colin jessica jost,” Che began his post, before recalling a few moments the two have shared throughout their years of working together — some true, and others, not so much.

“I think back to all the stupid fights we had thru the years.. like when you came to work with that racist puppet.. or when kept doing nazi salutes to our fans on tour.. or when you got our first magazine cover cancelled cause i was ‘making stupid faces’,” Che wrote.

He continued: “Or when you INSISTED on getting RKelly on the show.. or when you took me to that ‘whites only store’ ..or when you got us beatup at wrestlemania.. or all the times i had to stand there and listen to you and scarlett argue at work and i just had stand there like, ‘ohhh kayyy.’”

Che wasn’t quite done, however.

“Or when harry styles gave us flowers and you gaslit me cause said ‘i dont think he likes me’, and you got all mad like ‘HE GOT US THE EXACT SAME THING!! YOURE JUST BEING REVERSE RACIST AGAIN!!’.. or that time when the fbi thought we were dating..”

The carousel post also included a few photos of the two at work and hanging out, which serve as jokey “receipts” of Jost’s bad behavior throughout the years. One photo shows Jost holding a Black puppet backstage at “SNL.” Another shows Jost holding his arm straight out while the two perform onstage. A very funny snap shows the pair pulling up to a store called “Whites Drug & Department Store” while they laugh in a convertible. The rest of the photos are references to other claims Che made about Jost in his post.

“None of that shit matters today,” Che continued in another text slide. “Cause we’re still pals. and still the BEST update anchors, besides norm, tina, amy, jimmy, seth, chevy, jane, aykroyd, miller, nealon, and quinn.. and ill argue that with ANYBODY.”

The carousel concludes with footage of Jost backstage at “SNL” shot by Che. In the short clip, Che says to Jost: “Hey Colin … Colin. Fuck you, man.”

In response, Jost just stares blankly at the camera.

Although Che’s post comes off as highly aggressive — and makes Jost look like a total jerk — it’s a dynamic most “SNL” fans are familiar with and very much enjoy.

For years, the “Weekend Update” co-hosts have done a joke swap bit in which one writes jokes for the other, who then has to read them cold.

Che’s running joke for this bit is to make Jost look incredibly intolerant. He often writes racist quips for Jost to read, as though Jost wrote them himself.

In 2024, Che went nuclear when Jost’s wife, actor Scarlett Johansson, hosted the show. During their joke swap, Che wrote an incredibly sexist monologue for Jost to read about Johansson as she was filmed watching the bit backstage. One particularly crass joke included Che comparing Johansson’s nether regions to roast beef.

Johansson got her revenge in 2025, when she appeared on “Weekend Update” so Che could apologize to her — an apology, mind you, that Jost wrote.
