8 Backlist TV Shows To Scratch Your "Off Campus" Itch Until Season 2 Comes

From enemies-to-lovers arcs to total green-flag boyfriends, these teen dramas are about to become your new personality. Post approved and edited by BuzzFeed Community Team Nathan Scott walked so Garrett Graham could run. Who doesn’t love a douchebag jock with an asshole father who ends up falling for his tutor and becoming a loving, loyal man? Swoon. Beyond that, you have a show centered around basketball, two half-brothers who don’t get along, the comedy gold that is Brooke Davis, and the sheer trauma of Peyton Sawyer (for real, why did the writers make her life hell?). It’s honestly the perfect early-2000s show. The comparison between these two shows has already been thrown around online quite a bit, but it’s definitely earned. Shot in the same town as One Tree Hill (Wilmington, NC), Dawson's Creek is the absolute OG of teen dramas. You've got a small oceanside town where everyone dates each other, has piles of angst, and dreams of escaping their families. Plus, the love story between Joey and Pacey is so giddy-inducing and perfectly mirrors Hannah and Garrett's dynamic. Pacey might have his issues, but boy, does he make me melt. I will note: the dialogue in this show can be draining — and is definitely not how actual teens talk — but once you get over that hurdle, you're in for a ride. Now, hear me out! Yes, this is a show about Superman's origins. However, I would kill for a man like Clark Kent. You have Tom Welling in his PRIME, and his enemies-to-lovers arc with Lois will absolutely fill your Allie and Dean void. It's a bit slow at the start, but once you hit the fourth season and Lois enters the picture, the show really takes off. The pining and the constant "will-they-won't-they" tension are honestly top-tier. Trust me, the wait for the payoff is worth it. If you want a show that hits the mark on friend dynamics and lighthearted chuckles, Gilmore Girls is for you. It follows a young, single mother, Lorelai, and her teen daughter, Rory, in the charming town of Stars Hollow. The side characters are a hoot and will have you rolling on the floor with their antics. On top of that, we have multiple love triangles and relationships that have spanned decades-long debates on who each girl should end up with. I’m a Team Jess girly myself; if you’re a fan of Logan in Off Campus, Jess will definitely fill that yearning quota you’re missing. Missing that specific college vibe from Off Campus? Never fear, Greek is here! It follows siblings Casey and Rusty as they navigate college life and the Greek system. You have Casey (head of Zeta Beta Zeta) caught in a love triangle between Cappie and Evan, leaders of rival fraternities. Then you have her younger brother, Rusty, who decides to pledge Cappie’s fraternity. It is a recipe for absolute chaos, and I am here for it. You’ve got secret romances, high-stakes political maneuvering within the houses, and the constant threat of getting caught. It’s the perfect, slightly messy college nostalgia trip. If you didn’t know, 90210 started as a spinoff of the original Beverly Hills, 90210, following a new generation of teens at West Beverly Hills High. However, the next-gen characters stood on their own so well that they eventually scrapped the spinoff plotlines. This show is MESSY and will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat. The friends betray each other left and right, everyone dates everyone, and they’re all loaded to boot. While it’s a bit off the path from Off Campus, Naomi Clark is a shining star whose wild antics will have you laughing just like you do with Allie. Now, we're onto a few more recent teen dramas that captured my attention! XO, Kitty was one I didn't expect to like so much. I loved To All the Boys I've Loved Before, but I wasn't a fan of the sequels, so I assumed this spinoff about the younger sister would be cheesy. But boy, was I wrong! It's filled with so much heart — Kitty discovering a new country, learning about her mother, and navigating new friendships. And don't even get me started on the boys! Much like in Off Campus, many of the male characters here are massive green flags. Minho and Kitty also have the perfect enemies-to-lovers arc. Definitely add this to your next-watch list! This is the one I will scream from the rooftops about forever! It follows Jackie, who moves to Colorado to live with the Walter family and their 10 kids — the majority of whom are boys — after a devastating family accident. She has to navigate a difficult transition while falling for not one, but two of the Walter boys. And let me say: Cole and Alex Walter are total dreamboats. Personally, I love Jackie with Cole, and we can save Alex for myself. Genuinely, I love this show 1000 times more than The Summer I Turned Pretty (YES, I SAID IT, AND YOU CAN ALL COME FOR ME IN THE COMMENTS).
