The A Pint For Kim blood drive is held annually on the day before Mother’s Day at Naperville North High School (this year it’s Saturday, May 9) and also includes the region’s largest free family-friendly festival including live music, carnival games, food trucks, a car show and more. Already holding the record for Illinois’ largest one-day blood drive, the author’s family will be going for the national record in 2029 at their 10-year mark.
