Headquartered in Juno Beach, Florida, NextEra Energy provides generation, transmission, and distribution services. It has more than 40 GW of total generating capacity, with about one-third of electricity contributed by renewable wind and solar sources. The company's largest electric utility is Florida Power & Light, FPL, one of the largest vertically integrated electric utilities in the U.S., with approximately 6 million customer accounts.

In 2025, revenues topped $27.4 billion with FLP accounting for two-thirds of the top line.
