As a Deputy Editorial Director for BuzzFeed’s shopping team, I love to get into the weeds of why a product’s worth the money by deep diving into customer reviews, and product-testing as much as possible.

There's good reason that the word "chore" sounds like the opposite of fun. Name ONE that is fun. One! See, you can't. Now that we agree they're something that can't be avoided even though they're the opposite of fun, we can dive into some finds that'll help you get through those essential chores faster.

The kit comes with 60 gel stamps and 5 different stamp designs. Each stamp can be flushed about 150 times.

Promising review: "I love the look of these and the smell. They were easy to apply to the toilet and lasted a long time. The box came with so many that I don’t need to buy more for a long time. 10/10 a bathroom must-have." —Jon Mark

Mouthwatchers is a small business by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans — which are great for targeting stuff often missed with traditional brush and floss routines.

My colleague Emma Lord is a big fan. Here's what she has to say: "I personally just bought this at the recommendation of BuzzFeeder Stephanie Hope and love it just after the first few days of use! I use an electric toothbrush usually, but I feel like I'm getting a much more satisfying clean from these?? Especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively."

Promising review: "I have purchased at least 4–5 of these. I keep two in my kitchen at any time and use them daily in my kitchen and house. They are a good weight, durable, and so functional, and a decent price for a name brand product that performs!" —Go ask Alice

Promising review: "I got this because my mother has dementia and she kept putting away dirty dishes. 🤦🏽‍♀️ And believe it or not, she has actually been using it and it definitely has been working! So I highly suggest buying this for parents or someone you know who has a similar problem!" —Raquel

"Exactly as described, adhesive is good quality, and now my household knows when the dishes are clean. 10/10 would buy again." —Naes181

I live in an apartment without a dishwasher, and I honestly use that as an excuse to order takeout food instead of cooking. But, as soon as I got my hands on a bottle of this stuff (regular Dawn is my go-to dish soap, BTW), I put it to use on both a saucepan I used to make homemade enchilada sauce *and* the casserole dish I baked those enchiladas, which had a ton of caked-on food. It really does work like I say it does! Like, scary well.

Promising review: "Baked potatoes couldn't be easier or quicker. These work just as advertised. We have found that with larger potatoes, you may have to double your time, but 8–10 minutes compared to an hour or more in the toaster oven can't be beat!" —Don Juan

Click & Carry is a Shark Tank and QVC-featured small business that specializes in easy carry accessories.

Promising review: "TikTok made me buy it. This is great when you have a few bags and a box — for example, if you balance the bags, you can throw it over your shoulder and walk inside and have two free hands to carry the box, which is great. Product seems well built, and is comfortable on your shoulder or hand because of the padding." —Hung

Check out a TikTok of the foaming pink drain cleaner in action.

Promising review: "Wow! I don't think I've ever been more excited to use a cleaning product before. Who knew you could get so much satisfaction from a drain cleaner. I could probably make an ASMR video and post it, as it is that satisfying! Even though I had to angle this over my sink drain, to avoid the low faucet, it worked perfectly. The foam went down the drain and up through the overflow, bringing lots of black, yucky gunk with it. I have used lots of drain cleaners before, but not one that actually came up through the overflow. I'd never even considered what stuff was in there. It did a great job of cleaning everything out and it left the sink smelling fresh and clean as well." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "The water recently changed in our areas, and I noticed this awful blue staining. I had used this back in August and let it sit overnight, and it worked wonders! It worked so well, I purposely let my shower get gross again to take a picture to share with others. I work a demanding schedule and do not have time for deep cleaning ALL the time. This works wonders without scrubbing and no horrific fumes. I bought it for my almost 70-year-old Mom, too. She was so sick of scrubbing. Now she uses it bi-weekly! Highly recommend!" —Amelia

The programmable digital countdown timer allows for cooking durations from 30 minutes up to an extended 24 hours, providing flexible meal preparation for up to 7 people. Psst, this has definitely been making the rounds on TikTok.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this slow cooker. The lid rest is ideal and makes serving a breeze. I cooked in it last night for the first time, and what would have taken twice the time in my other slow cooker was done in about 3 hours in this one. Love love love it! Definitely worth the money!! Will recommend to all of my friends and family!" —Debbie

Reviewers love this because it doesn't require you to "smart enable" other parts of your home, and you can also set a schedule to automate different functions in your home! Also, just note if you want to connect with Alexa or Google Home, you'll need a Hub Mini.

Promising review: "This is exactly what I was looking for and had no idea it existed until I saw someone mention it on TikTok! Our front walkway gets pretty dark at night, and I was frustrated with trying to remember to turn on the light every evening and off every morning. I looked into those light sensors you can plug in, but our front porch light is under an awning with enough shade that it would have kept the light on 24/7. This little Switchbot solved the problem. I applied it to the indoor light switch and set the time on my phone. It has worked perfectly ever since." —Alecia McLochlin

Promising review: "I'm a clean freak with hard water, and this stuff took off the build-up like magic. I would recommend using a slightly damp scratch pad. It takes a little elbow grease, but I have tried a ton of products, and this one is the only one that worked!" —Lori

Includes a removable battery tester that doesn't require a battery. Holds up to 93 batteries of various sizes.

Promising review: "Okay, so I've seen these things in a store. I always thought they were kind of dumb and a waste of money. Let me tell you, this thing is AMAZING! We now own multiple of them. Holds AA, AAA, D, C, and even has a convenient little spot for the circle batteries. It's so nice not having a junk drawer or tub of batteries to sift through. If you love organization, you NEED to buy this. I didn't even know it came with a battery tester, that's pretty dang cool too, and it actually works. Love the clear design lid so you can see through to see what you are running low on. Keeps the batteries safe from water or other stuff getting all over them, too. 10/10 recommend!" —Patrick Ferrari

Note that this is the medium size, which means it's 16 x 12 x 22 inches, and can hold up to 66 pounds. In the reviewer pics above, the person was able to fit all the groceries on the counter into the shown bag.

Promising review: "I don’t have enough positive words to use to describe how much I love my Hulken. I use it many times a week for lugging groceries or gear from my garage to the elevator and down a long hall. The wheels are smooth, the handles are well-made and sturdy, making it simple to pull at my side or behind me. I have the larger and smaller sizes, but reach for the medium the most. The best upgrade on this medium are the elastic tabs to secure the sides of the tote. My older small Hulken didn’t have them, and they are IMO needed. Comfortable to pull and easy to unfold to load and unload. I don’t know what I did before these totes. I constantly get compliments on how organized I 'appear' when lugging my things around. The medium holds two paper shopping bags (I can fit other things on top) or many reusable shopping bags as the capacity is quite large. Don’t look for substitutes; the quality won’t be as good. I’ve seen them, and they don’t compare to a real Hulken." —Jersey

Promising review: "So happy with these shopping bags. Love how they fold for easy storage and made my shopping experience amazing. Open and go! Checkout was so easy, and so was putting in and taking out the car. Everyone in the store asked me about them. The best part is the freezer bag. I can actually get ice cream, and it was not soft after a 20-minute ride home." —Kymberlie2156

Promising review: "Great bags, they're compact and fold for storage. When opened, they have a thick cardboard covered in a fabric base to keep the bag sturdy and durable when filled. The straps feel thin, like they may break in the future, but I will update if and when that happens. Overall, great price for bags that will last.

Update five months later: Bag hasn’t broken, definitely purchase! I also load them up often! Keep in my car for toddler stuff, too." —Millennial Mama

Check out a TikTok of the veggie chopper in action.

Promising review: "Makes life so much easier. I can't imagine chopping onions or bell peppers by hand anymore, and it does so much more. We used to have a Prepworks chopper, which was a similar idea, but you had to press so hard to chop and it broke after not too long. This one requires very little effort to cut through the food and it has a generous container." —Amazon Customer

Check out a TikTok of the Ninja Crispi Air Fryer System in action.

Each air fryer comes with the "PowerPod," two containers (a 4-quart and a 6-quart), and lids. The PowerPod has auto-shutoff and four modes: Max Crisp, Bake, Air Fry, and Recrisp. The "feet" are heat safe, so you can prop it on any surface without worrying!

Promising review: "I got my Ninja Crisper today and reheated some stuffed bread with feta cheese and spinach, and it did a wonderful job. It was like it just came out of the oven the first time. Nice and crispy outside, but the inside heated just right. I love that the bottom glass can be covered with the lid it comes with. They come with a metal plate you can put in the glass bottom part, and it actually fits into the lid, so it doesn't get lost. The glass makes a difference in the taste, too. It is a great product and well worth it." —Jennifer

She likes it so well that she brings it home from college with her on breaks. It is especially nice that it has a removable pot, which makes it so much easier to clean or keep leftovers in. Would definitely buy again, don't waste your money on a slightly cheaper one that does not have a removable pot." —midohtree

Promising review: "I used to have messy baskets of hangers or a bunch of empty hangers on the rack. Now all my hangers are nice and neat and easy for laundry day." —Susan Burnside

Also, built-up lint is a fire hazard! Make this a part of your weekly cleaning routine.

Promising review: "This brush is stiff but flexible enough to feed under my dryer's lint filter. Several weeks ago a trouble light came on that indicated the air flow in my dryer was becoming obstructed. I had the dryer vent and area under the lint filter cleaned. (Not much lint was pulled out, so maybe the dryer sensor gave a false alarm.) I felt a small investment in a brush such as this is better than paying for a future vent cleaning. I've been using it once a week and it picks up a little lint each time, but that's lint that won't have a chance to build up in the dryer vent!" —blueskys

Promising review: "I love WD-40 products and use them for everything. I spray on shovels to keep dirt or snow from sticking, spray around windows and thresholds to deter bugs, clean Sharpies off wood and walls, and, of course, stop squeaky doors. These small direct-point application pens are great. Keep one in the glove box, my kitchen 'junk' drawer, and the house toolbox." —BBP623

Promising review: "These babies have transformed and reformed my slobby life. My dog sitter thought I got a new sink and fridge. I have never had more fun cleaning in my life — wait, I have never had any fun cleaning. But these magical creatures make it so freaking satisfying. No toxic stuff. No fumes. Just heavenly cleanliness. These are also much, much bigger than Magic Erasers. I cut them in half lengthwise, and they are STILL bigger. And they are a ton cheaper. Buy these. I don’t have much of a life, but I finally have a spotless sink." —Jimmy Jim Ereeno

The kit includes a 10-ounce bottle of Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner, one cleaning pad, and one scraper to make it a quick and easy job.

Promising review: "Works on my new range and cleans up beautifully so that my cooktop looks as shiny and clean as it did the day it was installed. Follow the directions exactly, and you can't go wrong. Very easy and quick to use. Not a lot of cleaner is needed, so the bottle will last a long time. I clean the cooktop with this almost every day, and I find that it cleans better than with regular cleaner." —Darcy

Hope's is a small business based in Missouri that makes cleaning supplies.

My colleague Maitland Quitmeyer has this and LOVES it: "I bought this for my white porcelain kitchen sink and I've since texted five people about it, which is really a lot for such a boring grown-up product. It cleans beautifully, but the *best* thing about it is its ability to repel stains after cleaning. You know that thing when you rinse out your coffee cup and the coffee water just lingers in your sink and you have to purposefully rinse it out for two minutes? You don't have to do that — the coffee can't stick to the sink and just goes RIGHT down the drain. Time saved, sink clean — this is really a Virgo dream product right here."

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! 10 year old sink looks brand new! Plus water beads right off, sweet stuff for a clean freak!" —Jenny Lynn

Promising review: "Do you ever remove the rubber cap between your sink and disposal? It is beyond gross! This is shaped just right and makes quick work of a yucky job. Good to do to keep odors away." —Mom328LSA

Promising review: "Saw on TikTok (don’t judge) and automatically added to cart. So easy to use, takes probably a minute to fully bubble up and clean, and you’re left with a clean sink! I use with other drain cleaning products, but would 100% recommend for weekly maintenance." —Jessica Hamilton

Useful Products is a US-based small business established in 2007 by car wash owner, electrician, and former bodybuilder Anthony LaPolla that specializes in drill-cleaning brushes and attachments.

Each of the different brush colors indicates which tasks the brushes are meant for based on their bristle type, so be sure to check which one is best suited for whatever you need to for! Yellow is the “all-purpose” medium bristle, but some are softer and harder depending on what types of surfaces you’re cleaning. (But none of them will scratch!)

Promising review: "This is the perfect trash bag, it's just the right size, the handle slips over the gearshift and hangs to the passenger side so it's not in the way. The material is sturdy and it holds a lot. Easy to dump and rehang! Looks neat in my black car, almost unnoticeable, which is perfect for a trash bag! lol Would definitely recommend, I have one in each car!" —V. K. Bareford
