I’d blow it out with a Dyson dryer, then apply more heat protectant and section it to flatiron smooth. I’ve tried all the air dry and natural waves and no frizz products out there, always with the same results: totally unruly frizz. I’m thrilled that on my very first try, the Airstrait dried and straightened my hair in 30 minutes, and it’s still straight, soft, and shiny after four days. So easy to use! I applied a heat protectant, and sectioned my hair, as recommended. There are several heat levels, and I used the very lowest heat setting and fan setting. Afterwards, I went over everything with a cool blast to set the style. The device appears quite as well made as my older Dyson, and seems like it will last. My older Dyson hairdryer has functioned reliably and dependably for 7 years. The main reason I purchased the Airstrait is to speed up the process. One unexpected benefit is that this model is much lighter than my older dryer, causing less arm fatigue. (IYKYK). Is it expensive? I’m impressed by how little product you need to neutralize any redness and get an even effect, and I find I don’t even need foundation after applying this product. I love that it also has SPF 30 in it. I opened my first jar on March 13 and today on October 14, I think I still have enough in the jar to have one more application. That’s 7 months! Less is definitely more. It is kind of impossible to use too much product because if you do take out too much, you will instantly know it and feel there is just too much product to blend into your skin. If you follow the directions, it works great. The jar does not come with an applicator. I found it super helpful and more hygienic to buy tiny spatulas (as seen in my photo) to remove just a tiny amount and not need to put my fingers or a cotton swab into the jar. Then I transfer the dab of product to my finger tips from the spatula and gently tap it onto my face. It is perfect! Great product, would recommend. Good for both women and men." —Emily

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing!! It’s light weight and it has helped me so much. It’s my go to leave in product for my hair and my lotion. I had some itchy, dry patches on the back of my head and they are now under control by using this. It has also helped my frizzy hair in this humidity. I put it on wet and then as needed on dry hair to control frizz. I have not found it to be heavy or greasy. I experiment with how much I use to control what I need but not to over do it. I would recommend this for anyone to try that has any of these problems. Helps dry skin also..If it works great, you have a natural awesome cure. If not, try a little more for a longer period then try something else. I’m not a doctor so make sure your not allergic and such and use your best judgment but this has worked well for me.
