Freeing up as much time as possible for maximum those baby sunggles.

I am a contributor who has been writing for BuzzFeed Shopping for two years, with a focus on products that make parenting just a bit easier — and hopefully more fun — home decor, kitchen gadgets, and whatever deals I can scope out.

Once they're out of the swaddle, you can switch to the wearable blanket version that will keep your little one safe AND warm.

Promising review: "This is amazing, and it's easier than trying to swaddle in the middle of the night" —anonymous

Promising review: "This little sound machine is amazing! Easy to use, portable, and good quality, plus the Bluetooth option makes it versatile for use outside of the baby!" —bre

So many people swear by humidifiers, but I had never used one prior to having a baby. If you're a skeptic like I was, I can verify that getting a humidifier has been so helpful, especially now that my kids are a bit older. Whenever I see the first sign of a sniffle, I pull the humidifier out and have seen a dramatic improvement, versus just gritting my teeth and holding on until it passes.

Promising review: "This is the best humidifier I've owned! I have purchased three now — one for each of the bedrooms! It's silent! But has the option for white noise; my kids love watching the color-changing lights (although we turn that off for sleeping), and it is easy to clean! And the top loader is nice! We have a pitcher and fill them up about every other night (if it's been running on low)." —Val

Price: $54.99 (available in four colors)

Promising review: "My 2-month-old has been pretty congested, and my husband wanted to try this, so we ordered it. 10/10 recommend! This has worked so much better than the typical one that is commonly used. Make sure to plug one nostril while suctioning out the other. But it was quick, he was less fussy, and he is sounding so much better. No matter how much I used the traditional one, he didn't sound this good! I love the carrying case it comes with, too. Makes it easy to store and not lose the filter or small pieces." —Brittany

This monitor is simple — it's a camera and a screen — but has some great features, including two-way talk-back, night vision, an optional night-light, and a temperature sensor. I used this brand for both of my babies and loved it. I saw too many horror stories of Wi-Fi being hacked that I put my little postpartum anxiety self at rest. I loved that I didn't need an app and the simplicity of it all. Can't complain about the price either!

Promising review: "This baby monitor is great! The video and noise quality are spot on! It's affordable and has held a charge for a long time! I'm so glad I went with this one versus a more expensive one." —Christine

Promising review: "These work well, especially with a newborn when you are constantly changing them. Don't take up a lot of room and are quick to wash." —Donna

Price: $11.29+ (available in a three- or six-pack)

Price: $249.99 (available in four colors)

Promising review: "This pump works better than my Spectra. I am very happy that I got it." —Heather

I have an older version of the Hatch for both of my kids and I love how easy it is to use and that I can set up several programs. They have different signal colors for staying in bed, playing quietly, and coming out of their rooms. Such an easy way to communicate with kids who can't tell time yet.

Promising review: "Originally had a regular hatch, loved it so much we bought this for our room. Well, it's now the one we use in the nursery. Love how easy it is to read the clock at night, different light and sound options. Came with 6 months of hatch subscription for free which gives guides for sleep training and naps etc. Huge fan!!! Love that you can make a schedule to keep on track and help him wind down, sleep and wake on time. I can also tell the functions will be easy for him to use on his own as he gets older. The child lock option on the app is also incredible. Can't say enough good things!" —Jessica

Price: $79.99+ (available in four colors)

Promising review: "The instructions for the bottle warmer are very self-explanatory, and the operation is very easy. It heats formula and breast milk alike effectively and evenly in a timely manner. I also heated baby food with it, too, and it does an amazing job. Unlike my old warmer, which does not have a lid, the lid traps the steam, making my kitchen less humid, and it heats more efficiently. Overall, it's a great product due to said facts." —Luke

Price: $39.99 (originally $59.99+; available in three colors)

Promising review: "I love the Dr. Browns Mixer. It saves time and saves wasted milk that ends up on the counter when making bottles. It also saves money from wasted milk bottles because you can just pour an ounce if your child just wants a top-off. Remember that the amount you make will rise based on the formula increasing the volume, so if you are making exactly enough, take that into consideration so you don't have too much milk." —Lynda

Promising review: "Any new parent, this is a lifesaver for your time and so worth the money. Buy it for yourself or for any baby shower you go to; you will not regret this purchase. Love how crystal clear the glass bottles come out, and knowing they are disinfected makes me feel so good feeding my baby with them. Just buy it!" —JLo

Promising review: "It steams food so much easier than steaming or cooking on the stove. The consistency is just right. I wish I had bought this months ago when my toddler first started eating food. Very convenient. Blending food with this device is much better than a blender. The food consistency is so much better!! I absolutely love it!!!" —Shenea

Price: $89.99+ (originally $119.99; available in two versions)

I am the parent of a food, plate, and cup thrower. What started out as an "Oops! She dropped her cup again" ended up being about a stressful TWO-YEAR process of "WHY IS SHE STILL THROWING FOOD??" These straps came with us to restaurants, on the stroller, and were a permanent fixture at the high chair. I may not have won the food-throwing battle for a while, but just keeping the cup secure was a little win that I desperately needed. I am also happy to note that it IS a phase they eventually grow out of.

Promising review: "Works just as intended!" —anonymous

Promising review: "So far it’s great! We are about to start our journey into solid foods, and this is great, so he can’t throw the plate onto the floor. Also, nice that I can just put it in the dishwasher on the top rack." —mackensy

Price: $13.95 for two plates (available in two color combinations)

With my first, I got so many bibs. They worked for liquids only, but when we introduced solids, I realized they were NOT going to work anymore. One run-in with spaghetti and the thing was absolutely ruined for good. Once I found these, I realized just how much of my laundry was bibs, and this cut down on a ton of stress. When my daughter was finished eating, I'd wash it in soapy water and hang it on the high chair for the next use. I even stashed one in the diaper bag for meals out.

Promising review: "Very creatively designed bib. Especially for people like me who hate cleaning bib stains, all the dirt washes right off. The only downside to it is that the dirt doesn't get absorbed and can get on the baby's face if you don't remove it from the bib in time. Would definitely recommend!!" —Akiva

Price: $10.49+ for four bibs (originally $16.99; available in two color sets)

Promising review: "Perfect size for little hands! We love using it for yogurt pops, but if you fill all of them, then they can be a little difficult to get out. We just fill every other one, and problem solved!" —Dana

Price: $4.38+ (originally $4.89+; available in four colors)

For the longest time, I was using a dustpan and broom to get my kid's crumbs after meals. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it was annoying. I finally decided to treat myself to a handheld vacuum, and I literally do not regret anything but waiting so long to get one. It's one of those really small things that really did make one part of parenting so much less work. Now that my baby is a big kid, she happily vacuums up after meals that are somehow still messy years later.

Promising review: "I have kids! Enough said. I use this thing for everything. Picks up the smallest of crumbs. I even use it for the counters and the stove top. Couch crevices. Car. It lasts forever because it rests on the wall charger. It's a must. Pets too!!" —Missy

Promising review: "This is much easier (and safer) than baby nail clippers that can cut the baby's fingers. It is surprisingly quiet, so I can do my 3-month-old's nails as they sleep! Even works on my 3-year-old, who loves to do it by himself." —Savannah

We've had ours for about six and a half years now, and I still use it. Before we found this little lifesaver, we tried other options that just never made us or our kids comfortable. Once we bought this one, we had faaaar fewer hair-washing fights.

Promising review: "Great product for all kids! I have a 10-month-old and a 5-year-old, and this works great for rinsing soap out of their hair while keeping soap out of their eyes! It's a soft silicone material, so it forms to their head to make sure the water goes where you want it! Also doubles as a great bath toy!" —Alaina

Price: $5.93+ (available in two colors)

Promising review: "This item is great! Even if you're bathing a baby, or you've got a small child. This item works. I'd buy this again and again. No more worrying about any bathtub injuries." —Jo

Price: $10.50+ (available in three colors)

Promising review: "First time buying this product and it was the best decision ever. It's nicely packaged. It comes with all the accessories and batteries. And don't worry, the water suction is powerful. Both pressure modes are fast flow. I just know that bath times are going to be less stressful and more fun. My little one is most definitely going to enjoy this. I give this a 10 out of 10, highly recommend, especially for new parents. Side note: Inside the first lid is a pull-out key to help you open the second lid to the battery port. You put it in the little slot and turn." —anonymous

Promising review: "Honestly, I thought this would be overkill for my son's bath toys, but this thing is amazing. It keeps everything clean and gives it a chance to dry out instead of sitting in water and building up bacteria. I would give it six stars if I could." —Dax

Promising review: "This fan is amazing. Blows cool air." —Mona

Price: $15.99+ (available in two colors and three versions)

Promising review: "Works great for my mom with arthritis in her thumbs!" —Trina

Price: $14.99 (available in seven colors)

Promising review: "My baby loves this toy. When she was only a few months old, she liked to stare at the lights and listen to the music, but now that she's old enough to operate it, she loves it even more. It plays segments of good classical music. I'd highly recommend everyone get this." —Bridg

Promising review: "I love that the play yard is very easy to set up. My 1-year-old loves it. She has a lot of space to move around and play with her toys. I am able to watch her play in it while I work. It has helped us a lot because she likes to climb. It is made very well, and the bag it is in makes it easy to transport. I am a little upset my friends with kids didn't let me know about the play yard sooner!" —Jessica
