Some argue it was clearly a joke, while others say it crossed the line...

The Swedish singer recently sat down with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang on their Las Culturistas podcast, where she explained that everyone on her team should be able to pull a “goon face” on demand to prove they don’t take themselves too seriously.

When Bowen asked whether the face was part of the job interview, Larsson shrugged and burst out laughing before turning to a member of her team and declaring, “Chris, goon!”

Idk I really like Zara but I think there’s a difference between “let’s be silly at work” and “show me your GOON FACE” https://t.co/co6EkjDT6a

Imagine fighting for your life trying to put food on the table for your family and 2 kids and Zara Larrson fires you for not making a good face at 7am https://t.co/WLibzA5B8N

I forsee a nasty lawsuit in her future. Megan and Lizzo had to learnt he hard way your employees aren't ur friends. https://t.co/sQQNSMfnv4

They're accusing zara larsson of sexual harassment on my timeline, y'all are not real people.pic.twitter.com/xBXvoxuePo

y’all acting like zara larsson killed someone

yall can’t really think she was using goon sexually here or that she will seriously fire someone for not making a silly face. it’s not hard to understand she was saying she just wants her crew to know they can be carefree and goofy https://t.co/H48hzY2rc0

Male celebrities can stalk, belittle, shoot & insult women, be racist, be misogynistic, be xenophobic etc etc etc and it’s all fine but god forbid Zara Larsson makes a little joke on a podcast about wanting her staff to match her silliness & carefree attitude
