Kimberly Guilfoyle Posts For First Time In Months Amid Corruption Scandal... And, Uh, What?

Kimberly Guilfoyle chose an interesting time to post her first tweet since July, but she didn’t use the moment to address the elephant in the room. The Wall Street Journal recently reported that the current U.S. ambassador to Greece tried to get a Donald Trump donor to pay off a $100,000 debt ahead of her Senate confirmation hearing in 2025. But while the former Fox News host and onetime fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. is facing heavy criticism for the claim, she apparently decided against a response to the Journal story. Instead, she focused on a speech that Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave in Greece Wednesday urging European leaders to band together with the U.S. to defend Western values. “Our history, culture and civilization must be protected,” she wrote. @SecRubio delivered a powerful warning from the Acropolis, the perfect backdrop at the birthplace of Western civilization: The West must defend its culture before it disappears. 🇺🇸🇬🇷Our history, culture and civilization must be protected. pic.twitter.com/uvpX4sUxsZ Guilfoyle isn’t the only Trump official trying to avoid commenting on her corruption allegations. In fact, she was standing by Rubio’s side when a reporter asked the secretary of state about the scandal. “You guys walk around thinking that because some source told you something and you reported it, it’s the gospel,” he said. “It’s not the gospel. It’s not the gospel for me. That’s not the way we do things.” On Thursday, Vice President JD Vance claimed he was unaware of the story, but admitted he didn’t like the “hypothetical.” By entering your email and clicking Sign Up, you're agreeing to let us send you customized marketing messages about us and our advertising partners.
