Reviewers are mixed on how much sensitivity they cause — some have none, some space out their treatments to reduce sensitivity, and some say they get some temporary sensitivity. Some reviewers suggest cutting the strips in half so the treatment is just on the front of the teeth to help (and hey, that means you get twice the strips!).

Promising review: "I've been grinding my coffee daily since 2001 using a Baratza (Encore?) grinder. I think I've worn out three or four over that 25 years. I started with that grinder because I also had an espresso machine and needed the grinder to handle grinding that fine as well. As a general aside, just having a new, sharp grinder has made my coffee so much better. I hadn't realized how worn the Baratza had become.
