Girl pleads for world leaders to save her country from climate change

‘We are not asking for pity, we are asking for help.’

A 13-year-old girl has called on world leaders to act on climate change and save her country, Tuvalu. Melelusi Sokotia made the plea to leaders at a summit ahead of the UN’s COP31 climate forum in Turkiye.
