Explosion shutters Venezuela’s second-largest oil refinery An explosion has ripped through Venezuela’s second-largest oil refinery, causing it to suspend activities. Reuters reports that the fire at the Cardon facility in Punto Fijo, Falcón state, started in a gas line. The facility can process 300,000 barrels of oil per day when operational. Save Share
