CNN’s Kaitlan Collins has appeared to serve up a subtle response to one of Donald Trump’s personal insults.

Viewers of “The Source” last week spotted a mug sitting on Collins’ desk bearing the message: “America Needs Nasty Women.”

It appeared to be a pointed reference to Trump’s repeated, personal attacks on the CNN anchor.

The president has called Collins “nasty” before as part of his pattern of attacking female journalists.

Trump most recently took aim at Collins in an interview with Time magazine, calling her “a very average person” and “the most unhappy young person I’ve ever seen.”

He has not commented on her mug, nor has Collins herself.
