Learn more at the National Library of Medicine. Promising review: "I wish I had found these sooner!! These cold sores were probably the worst I've had and wouldn't clear up or stop itching/hurting. I googled cold sore remedies, and these happened to pop up. After reading the reviews, I immediately ordered them. They came right on time, and I put them on before bed last night. It's been less than 36 hours, and these cold sores are already healing beautifully. I plan to order another pack or three, so I can keep one at home, one in my purse, and one in my locker at work, so if I ever feel the warning tingle/itching of a new breakout, I can slap one of these bad boys on and get rid of it quickly! Highly recommend for my fellow cold sore sufferers." —Jessica Hill Get a pack of 30 from Amazon for $24.98 (also available as a pack of 15). The brand recommends applying twice a day for best results. Read more about how Q10 benefits the skin from the National Library of Medicine. Promising review: "I’ve been using this for a few years and love it! I had loose skin after losing weight, and this gel has been a game-changer, with noticeable improvement in my skin’s texture and firmness in just a few weeks. I use this gel on my thighs, stomach, and underarms. I pair it with Nivea’s body lotion for the rest of my body. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a while. I switched over to another gel for a month a bit ago, and I noticed my skin returning to uneven firmness and texture. Once I went back to using this product, I noticed improvements within a few weeks again. So, this isn’t a cure, but with continuous use, results are maintained to keep my skin firm, moisturized, and even textured." —Morgan Get it from Amazon for $15.19 (available in an almond or lotus scent). Mouthwatchers is a small business established by Ronald Plotka, DDS, that specializes in antimicrobial toothbrushes designed to get deeper cleans that even patients with "great" dental hygiene might miss with traditional brush and floss routines. BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord loves these: "I use an electric toothbrush usually, but I feel like I'm getting a much more satisfying clean from these?? Especially because I tend to get yellow stains between my teeth no matter *how* much I floss, and these bristles seem to actually target that a lot more effectively." Promising review: "I absolutely love this toothbrush!! TikTok made me buy it, and I will never own anything else again. My teeth feel clean all day long, like I went to the dentist but better. I even have a Sonic toothbrush, and this blows it out of the water. Don’t hesitate… buy this for your teeth!" —Amy Get a pack of two from Amazon for $9.99. Promising review: “I tried EVERYTHING! I tried tree tea oil for years and various different products. Nothing worked. The reviews were so great on this that I decided to try to cure it one more time. But when you have had a condition for 35 years, you aren’t too hopeful! I followed the suggestions of some of the reviewers and cut my toenails (I only had it on my big toes) everywhere that the fungus was present. I started applying this gel, which is super easy to use. I swear to you that I noticed a difference after one application.” —WIAPilot Get it from Amazon for $19.97+ (also available with a nail file, as a nighttime treatment, and a protective formula). Promising review: "I’ve tried so many nipple covers over the years, and these are just in a league of their own! They stick and don’t move (sweat, clothes, moisturizer, etc. — nothing budges them), but then they peel off so easily. It’s magic. They are completely seamless, and my husband (without prompting) said they looked like a second skin. I’ve got quite 'triangular' boobs, and they completely mold to the shape and look like I just have no nipples lol. Only when I’m suuuuuper cold does any level of nipple start to show through, and even then, it’s minimal. They’re more pricey than others I’ve bought before, but so worth it. The others were one-and-done — these have held up through several wears and are still in perfect condition. Will repurchase them as soon as they wear out, without a doubt! No more bras!" —Alison BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown swears by these pasties! Check out her Nippies review to learn more. Talk to your ENT to see if this is right for you before using. Doctor Easy is a small biz started 20 years ago with the invention of the Elephant Ear Washer by a doctor who saw the need for a better method of treating patients’ earwax impactions. Promising review: "This product is awesome and completely exceeded my expectations! We have been struggling with excessive earwax build-up with my 4-year-old son, and we tried everything else, and he would cry and scream if we did anything to his ear. It took two tries, but we got all the impacted earwax out. The first time I used water and apple cider vinegar, and the second time just warm water. Both methods worked equally well. I tried it myself, and it feels a little weird but doesn't hurt. My son doesn't mind doing it and watched TV the whole time. Would definitely recommend this product for young children!" —Alix H. Get it from Amazon for $31.95 (Psst — Here's a bottle of ear drops from the same brand!). Promising review: "This foot peel is THE TRUTH and got my feet right and smooth as butter! I’ve never done a foot peel in my life, and so I had a lot of hard skin under my feet to get rid of. I followed the instructions on the box and decided to put on the foot peel right before bed. You can feel the peel tingling and working while you have it on your feet, so I felt relief. It took about three days after I did the peel to see the results start. Do not get discouraged if you see peeling only at the toes. That’s just the start of it... cause the next day I felt the middle of my foot arch bubble after my bath, and a whole piece of skin was peeling. This peel did its job and some more! It has my feet feeling baby smooth and gave me a feeling of being in a salon without the polish. It felt good to pamper myself. This is my go-to from now on, when I want a good smooth foot AFTER a pedicure (because a pumice stone can’t do what this peel can)!" —Shopinista Get a pack of two from Amazon for $15.17 (available in five scents and as a four-pack). Promising review: "BEST THING EVER! It's a MUST-HAVE! I have the WORST dry heels. It doesn’t matter if I wear socks all the time; I always get dry heels. Bought this thinking it would work pretty average or similar to others I had used. I was sooo wrong. It is literally the most amazing product ever. It works SO WELL! Usually, it takes me a good 15–20 minutes, at least, to achieve somewhat of a soft heal. Enter this; it took me five minutes tops. I’ve never had softer feet! It honestly works even better than going to get a pedicure professionally. Seriously, so happy I found this." —Mickenzie Promising review: "Really does work, you just have to be consistent. Once the wart fell off, I put on a regular Band-Aid, and it’s been healing well. The skin on that area is flat now. I only took it off to shower and put it back on immediately after. Wart came off in five days." —Alena Andujar Get it from Amazon for $11.25 (also available in a two-pack). Read more about tea tree oil and how it can help with athlete's foot from Mayo Clinic and jock itch from Cleveland Clinic. Promising review: "Every now and then I get itchy somewhere — an ankle, thigh, arm, torso, neck, even scalp. I react poorly to Benadryl, and I wanted something natural. I've gone through several jars of Wonder Balm over the last few years. Works great and I'm so grateful for it. It has a scent, but it's not unpleasant. It's a little oily, but absorbs fairly quickly." —Jojo Dr. Tung's is a small biz that makes breath-improving dental products. Promising review: "I have gone 30 years of my life having the worst breath known to man. I would brush and brush, and within 20 minutes, I'd be back to the same. I never knew how to get rid of it. Then, I came upon this little item on Amazon. I decided to give it a try because I figured I'd tried everything else. Wow, just, wow... I couldn't believe how much crap this thing was pulling off my tongue. Seriously, if you have suffered from bad breath, give this a try. You will not regret it." —Me Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (also available in packs). According to reviewers, this mask works on fine hair, curly hair, and type 4 hair. Promising review: "Can't say enough good things about this product! I was going to wait until I got paid to buy the Olaplex Professional 4-in-1 Moisture Mask (for $70+), but then, after seeing all the good reviews, I decided to try this, and I am so glad I did! I think this actually works even better, and for $8, you really can't go wrong. I have no idea what sorcery is going on in Korea, but they really know what they are doing. My hair is pretty damaged and my biggest issue is it getting tangled and breaking in the shower. Even after the first use, I noticed my hair being softer and smoother and the broken ends being less noticeable. I'd say that nothing else I've tried has made my hair look this good, and after using it for a week, the results are even more noticeable. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good hair mask!" —Katie Read our Elizavecca's CER-100 hair protein treatment review to learn more about why my colleague calls it "the miracle product I've been searching for." Promising review: "This product is gentle on the skin, but strong enough to combat any buttock issues caused by stress, environmental issues, or whatever. Living in the Deep South, we sometimes have a condition called 'swamp butt.' Little red bumps, like a rash or breakout, can form in sensitive areas. Using this product once a day after showering... I've had ZERO bumps in over three months. It works. Doesn't smell the greatest, but it's tolerable, for sure. Great product." —Billie B Promising review: "I really loved this product. I am currently waiting for a new Invisalign set. My old Invisalign needed to be cleaned. I read the reviews and decided to purchase. OMG, it worked! There was a fresh taste, and they were clean. I wish I had found this product sooner. I did let them soak overnight only because I had been wearing them for the last four months. Nothing happened to Invisalign; there was no weakness or anything. Promising review: "I get corns on the bottom of my foot. This has been going on for 30 years. I’ve tried all the pads sold in drug stores. None of those are anywhere as good as this brand. They stick to the skin very well, and the medication really works on the corns and the thickened skin around them. Well worth it." —Al Symbal Bushbalm is an Ottawa-based small skincare brand creating products for our most sensitive areas. Promising review: "I have literally tried everything to prevent razor burn for the past 10+ years, and nothing worked. I tried products, preshave routines, post-shave routines, every kind of razor/shaving cream combination you can think of, etc., and despite all my efforts, money, and time, I still always had razor burn. that all changed last week when I tried Bushbalm for the first time. I cannot believe how well this stuff works. I never write reviews, like this is literally the first one I've ever written, but seriously, if you struggle with bikini line irritation after shaving, buy this stuff for real. The difference was noticeable after ONE use, it's true. All the grime, rolled up skin, flakes, and chunks — shudder, that was on me??? Everything other customers are saying about how disgusting it is when you see how much dead skin sloughs off is true. I disagree that it only comes off after the first use, though — I have continued to see improvement over the time I've used it, about six weeks, and even some age-related and sun damage discoloration is gone. These are the BEST, a MUST-HAVE, holy grail exfoliating mittens. I DEFINITELY recommend this! Did I say I recommend this 100%? I do!" —Kindle Customer. g'ma Get it from Amazon for $9.49+ (available in seven colors and two-packs). Promising reviews: "Highly impressed and satisfied with purchase. I've been a nail-biter my entire life. I recently stopped biting, a little over three months ago, and while I've been pleased overall with the growth, I've found that my natural nails have many imperfections. For instance, I have splinter hemorrhages, as well as white horizontal lines (aka Beau's lines) on every single nail on all 10 fingers, and the tips are transparent. But this polish literally disguises all of that. I'm so so grateful to have found it." —Kourtnee amos Get it from Amazon for $16+ (available in six shades). I can remove this mask by peeling it back slowly, and usually large pieces peel at once." —Berzina Household Get it from Amazon for $19 (available in three other formulas). You can read more about keratosis pilaris at the Cleveland Clinic. Promising reviews: "I use this product because I have keratosis pilaris all over my arms and back of my legs. This product helped quite a bit with the bumps being less noticeable. I even used it on my face, where I have lots of texture. It ABSOLUTELY got rid of all of the bumps on my face!! I will most definitely continue using it." —Cyan "I've always dealt with acne on my back and sometimes on my chest. After I found this body wash, my skin changed for GOOD!!! It's acne-free and very soft. I don't need to use any other exfoliant. Note: In winter, I used extra lotion after this body wash (CeraVe as well) because my skin tends to dry a lot." —Noe8890 Promising review: I bought the largest tube, and I'm glad I did. Just after one use, the little bumps on my arms (and buttocks, and hips) are almost gone. The grit in the scrub is very dense and fine. It makes for an intense scrub. It's not at all uncomfortable or painful, but it is a SCRUB. The ingredients are also chemical exfoliants. It's safe for sensitive skin, so I didn't expect it to be very fragrant, and it isn't. It just smells like basic soap or wax, which I'm fine with. I didn't buy it to smell nice. So if you struggle with the KP and other areas of your body that you just can't get smooth, buy it. Buy it now. Lol. And buy the big bottle. You won't be sorry." —Nicole S. Get the 4-ounce size from Amazon for $20.52 (available in three other sizes). Check out why BuzzFeed Shopping contributor Samantha Wieder swears by this: "I [get] hormonal acne — it's just something that I have come to terms with and will have to deal with for many more years to come, and while it's not fun, these acne patches make it sooo much easier. When I have a pimple about to come to a head, I pop one of these babies on it before bed and then peel it off along with all the gunk it pulls out. It definitely helps speed up the process, and they're gentle on my sensitive skin!" Promising review: "These patches are the only reliable way to shrink an existing pimple. I always get pimples that swell up but won't come to a head. I've tried all the lotions, creams, salves, hot compresses, etc. Nothing worked on existing pimples. But these patches take the swelling right down. For really bad ones, it sometimes takes a couple of days of wearing the patches, but it will go away (much faster than the one to two weeks it always takes if I just do nothing). Plus, the patch keeps you from touching or picking at it.” —snowmentality Get 36 stickers from Amazon for $12.99 (also available in a pack of 72). Read our Hero Cosmetics Mighty Patch review! Promising review: "I have suffered from splitting and cracking fingers every fall and winter for years. I tried Eucerin, Lubriderm, and Gold Bond creams, but none seemed to relieve the recurring splitting. I tried O'Keeffe's Working Hand Cream, and within two and a half days, the splitting and cracking were no longer a factor. Since using the cream, I have not suffered any more cracking or splitting. I am on a busy schedule and only use it at night when I go to bed. It says it's non-greasy, but you can definitely feel a slick texture on your hands once it is applied. That's why I use it at night before bed when I don't have to open door knobs, touch smartphones, or shake hands. It has the texture of cake icing, goes on smoothly, and works into the skin quickly. It has no smell I can detect. I am so glad I found this cream; it has ended years of splitting and cracked fingers/hands." —T.H. Promising review: "I have extremely sensitive teeth from over-whitening in high school, but this product has been such a lifesaver! I am a daily black coffee and red wine [drinker], so my teeth have taken a toll as far as staining goes. Seriously, I was very hesitant about getting this because of how sensitive my teeth are, but I wish I had gotten it sooner! This is such a great product!" —Mimi Doherty Get a two-pack from Amazon for $14.95 (also available in packs of one and four). Promising review: "Okay, first of all, the packaging is ADORABLE and so compact. But don't let the size fool you — this stuff actually works. I’ve been struggling with stubborn whiteheads on my chin and blackheads on my nose for forever, and this pore stick literally cleared them out so easily. I have super sensitive, combo skin, and I love that the ingredients are clean and gentle. It’s super affordable and gives me better results than high-end products. Since I get oily in my T-zone, I layer this under my moisturizer, and it keeps me fresh for hours. If you’re on a budget but want that glass skin look, you NEED this. 10/10 recommend!" —Sweet Corn It's also easy to clean: Just twist and unlock the roller's ring, gently pull out the stone part, wash the stone with a gentle cleanser, rinse it off, and let it air dry before using it again! Talk to your doctor before attempting to treat your keloid on your own, and learn more about keloids from Cleveland Clinic. BuzzFeed Shopping contributor Jordan Grigsby has used this, and here's what she has to say: "Oh! BTW, I bought this. Last year I got a dermal piercing on my chest and since literally just about every piercing I've ever gotten has grown a keloid on it, I should have known my dermal would eventually, too. I got the piercing in February of 2023, and around May, I noticed a nasty, stubborn little bump making a guest appearance on my piercing. 🙄 I had written about this stuff a few times, so the light bulb went off, and I immediately bought it. I consistently used it twice a day, and it gradually disappeared, literally like magic, within a month. Keloids are a serious nightmare, and I'm so glad that I found this stuff. I even *accidentally* ripped it out in November and immediately grabbed this to prevent a keloid from forming cuz I just knew it'd get infected. To my surprise, no keloid, nada. This stuff always gets rid of keloids for me; it's such a lifesaver. You do have to be patient and consistent; this is NOT an overnight miracle, but it's worth it. I also suggest that you continue to use it for like another week or two, even after your keloid goes away juuust in case it tries to sneak back into your life."
