It's a splurge, yes, but consider it an investment that will last you many years, since every single part on the tree is replaceable, from the woven baskets to the sisal-covered branches. Designed for cats up to 23 pounds, the Ivy 3 is super sturdy thanks to the square wooden base, which keeps it secure when cats jump on and off. And the woven baskets are large and supportive — enough to comfortably hold just about any cat, IMO.

Staff review: "I've had the Ivy 3 for several years now, and it's held up beautifully despite heavy use from my two cats. It was a replacement for an older, cheaper cat tree, and I was ready to invest in something nicer. After extensive market research, I realized Mau had everything I was looking for: the quality and durability, the chic modern look, and the option to replace parts that my cats may eventually wear down with time. Also, you can purchase the cushions and pom-pom balls for your tower in different colors, with some really gorgeous shade options! Most importantly, though, my cats ADORE this tree.
