One actor was in a coma when his family discovered that his wife was still legally married to her ex!

Carole Brown, Bobby's mom, said, "That is so far from the truth. If he had married somebody nobody knew — say, Kim — I would have been just as happy. I'm not starstruck, okay? For instance, at his wedding, everybody was running around saying, 'Did you meet this person? Did you meet Dick Clark? Did you meet so and so?' No, I didn't."

Kim later had issues receiving child support payments from Bobby.

Whitney alleged that he was abusive, which he denied. 

In a statement, the actor's family said, "Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton and Margarita's marriage to each other, as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse. We have found some alarming details. We, as a family, believe Margarita isn't who she claimed to be to us. This has caused us to want to investigate her further."

"As a Christian, I forgave her a long time ago because I didn't want to hold on to the anger and have it slow down my process of healing. I really do wish her well. I hope she gets the help she needs," he said.

He also said that she "absolutely" told him she was divorced. He continued, "We would've never spoken if I knew she was married. I'm not the type of person that messes with married women. She kept telling me she was divorced for 10-plus years. ... It was supposed to be a legal marriage. Thankfully, the marriage was voided. I didn't need to annul it because we weren't legally married. I dodged a bullet there."

He alleged that, before his stroke, their relationship was already on the rocks. He said, "We weren't in a good space. [There were] a lot of arguments and accusations and lies. I'd been praying for God to remove her from my life because I felt like I was stuck. I was done a long time ago. So I feel like if this was the final nail in the coffin, so to speak, the thing that had to happen in order to finally separate us, I was OK with it. I still [have] my life. I mean, I'm seated right now. I can't really do the things [and] everything I used to, but I can still do some. I still got some pep in my step when I get my step back."

Margarita disputed his version of events, telling ABC News that she wasn't aware her divorce from her previous husband was never finalized, and it was all a mistake. Her former husband confirmed her story and said that they both believed their divorce had been finalized. He filed for divorce in February 2026.

She told Good Morning America, "When I told Quinton back in the hospital bed, and I want to be very honest about this, I feel like this needs to be said and brought out there. I said to him, I said, 'Bibi, this information that your family pulled up on me, you know, I wasn't aware of it.' I said, 'This is what I found out. It is true.'"

Rudolph and Natacha were married from 1923 to 1926.

Tammi was reportedly engaged to Dr. Ernest Garrett when she died of brain cancer in 1970.

She continued, "And I said, 'What?' And he caught me by my arm, and he turned me around, and he said, 'Myra, I love you, and I wanna marry you.' I think I just melted..."

When her father, J.W. Brown, discovered that she and Jerry had eloped, he "got his gun."

Myra told the LA Times, "That was not a happy moment. Daddy felt very betrayed by that. I was his 13-year-old little girl... The minute Daddy left the house, my mother called [Sun Records founder] Sam Phillips and said, 'Oh my God, you're not gonna believe what's happened, Sam.' Mom said, 'Jerry and Myra have gotten married. And Jay [J.W.] has his pistol. He's on his way to Sun Records. You better get Jerry out of there.'"

So, Sam ran Jerry off, telling him, "I don't care where you go, just go." During the three or four days he was gone, Sam convinced Myra's father to accept the marriage.

She said, "Sam Phillips was a real talker, let's put it that way. He could convince you that whatever you were seeing wasn't there. ... There was just no choice. I mean, killing Jerry was not an option. It was his first thought, but it wasn't an option."

Myra co-wrote the 1982 book Great Balls of Fire: The Uncensored Story of Jerry Lee Lewis, which was made into a movie starring Winona Ryder as Myra and Dennis Quaid as Jerry. She also published her memoir, The Spark That Survived, in 2016.

Jed told the Bachelor Happy Hour With Rachel & Ali, "If you really do love someone, no matter how promising they've made it seem, if they're going on a dating show, regardless of why they're going on a dating show, why would you stay with them? If I was in a relationship, I would not have gone onto a dating show. That's just me. I'm not a cheater. And with my time with Haley, I did hang out with other people. I did date other people. I slept with other people. We were not in an exclusive relationship."

In 2024, Hannah told the Almost Famous podcast, "I think we all know, and I can say this, we're in a much better situation now. But it was messed up. I had a really hard time with it. For sure, it was weird. But, they are married now, and she is a part of my family. ... They have a really great relationship, and she loves him very much, and I know my brother really loves her."
