In a statement, the New York-based firm said the round was led by venture firm Expa and Uber co-founder Garrett Camp. Coinbase Ventures, Tenet Fund, Second Sight Ventures, and various sovereign and family offices across the Gulf and Africa, among others, also participated. Fin.com, co-founded by Nabeel Alamgir and Mustafa Dar, operates a "single orchestration layer" to allow clients to receive, convert, and move money across borders using local payment rails. The platform also integrates SWIFT messaging, USD virtual accounts, stablecoin settlement, liquidity management, and compliance tools into a single network, the company added. Fin.com stated that it already moves money for "some of the world's largest payments and money-transfer platforms", as well as digital-asset exchanges. Through these enterprise integrations, the software currently reaches 825 million end users. It is also expanding by acquiring licenced local financial entities, rather than "raising billions to enter markets from the outside", the statement said. It has already finalised seven acquisitions to date and plans to reach 12 completed transactions by the end of the year. The company will allocate the new capital toward opening additional payment corridors and executing its acquisition pipeline. Fin.com also intends to pursue the acquisition of a licensed bank within the next six months. The firm currently employs more than 200 people across six global offices. Expa founding partner Vitor Lourenço said: "At Expa, we back founders who build through complexity. Nabeel and Mustafa are tackling one of finance's hardest problems, one market at a time. "Like Bending Spoons, they combine acquisitions with speed, operating discipline, and the ability to make strong businesses more valuable together. We're excited to help them build Fin.com into a defining global financial brand." "Fin.com exits stealth with $20m to expand payment rails" was originally created and published by Electronic Payments International, a GlobalData owned brand.
