Harry Enten Spots 1 Key Voting Bloc Saying 'Adios' To Trump

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten said President Donald Trump has lost a colossal amount of approval from one key voting bloc that helped reelect him in 2024, citing recent polls on Tuesday confirming that prior support from the group has plainly said, “Adios, amigos.” “Oh, my goodness gracious,” said Enten during a “News Central” appearance. “Oy oy oy, no bueno if you’re the president of the United States, because just take a look here: He had a massive breakthrough in 2024; he won working-class Latinos!” Enten cited Pew Research Center data and CNN-SSRS polls from 2026 suggesting Trump, who won the demographic in the 2024 election against former Vice President Kamala Harris, has landed the GOP in major trouble ahead of the upcoming midterms in November. “He won non-college Latino voters by a point over Kamala Harris,” said Enten. “That’s a major breakthrough for a Republican president, or a Republican running for president. But that win that he had? Adios, amigos. Goodbye, see you later.” He continued, “Look at his net approval rating now in an average of polls, CNN-SSRS polls across 2026: He’s 42 points underwater. That is a switcheroo ... shifting away from the president of the United States, his support rapidly declining, plummeting among working-class Latinos ― a group that helped get him elected back in 2024.” Although Trump won the 2024 election on vows to boost the economy and promises to revive U.S. manufacturing ― and instead launched mass deportations and deadly immigration raids shortly after returning to office — he appears to have lost major support from Latinos since then. “There has been a massive, massive backlash,” Enten noted Tuesday. The data guru explained that non-college Latinos helped Trump beat Harris on the issue of immigration by 9 points in the 2024 election, citing an average of CNN-SSRS polls, but now has a net approval rating of -47 points on the issue from that same demographic. “You don’t see shifts away from a president of the United States of 56 points unless you have done something absolutely terribly wrong in the minds of the voters,” said Enten. “These are terrible, terrible numbers.” Trump recently hit the worst approval rating of his presidency amid a nationwide affordability crisis that he has repeatedly dismissed and a costly war on Iran that he himself started. Enten noted the resulting backlash from voters should have Republicans “running scared.” “These are the types of numbers that make history for Democrats,” he said.
