ZenaTech, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZENA) on Tuesday disclosed that it has completed the acquisition of Merritt Paul Land Surveying, LLC, which is a land surveying firm based in Franklin, Georgia.

Merritt Paul serves the solar, transportation and construction sectors, including a major national transportation company and specializes in utility-scale solar surveys across the U.S.

ZenaTech did not disclose the financial terms of the deal. The deal marks ZenaTech's 29th Drone as a Service acquisition.

CEO Shaun Passley, Ph.D., said the acquisition strengthens ZenaTech's DaaS exposure to utility-scale solar and transportation infrastructure. Merritt Paul founders Tyler Bius and Levi George each bring more than a decade of surveying experience with major rail and airport clients.

Notably, the company said that the drone solar inspection market is projected to grow from $1.2 billion in 2024 to $6.8 billion by 2032 at an approximately 25% CAGR, according to Verified Market Research.
