In this new season, tensions have reached what appears to be a breaking point. President Grace Penn (Janney) and VP Hal Wyler (Sewell)'s conspiracy to steal Russia's most powerful weapon hurries the US toward war. However, his days of hiding come to an end when he suddenly runs into Thomas Shepard (Ruaridh Mollica), a mysterious boy who might just be Vision and Wanda's (Elizabeth Olsen) son. As a WandaVision and Agatha All Along fan, this will be high up on my must-watch list. Notably, this leads Lamb and Cartwright to reunite with many people, including Olivia Cooke, who returns as Sid Baker. Slow Horses remains one of the best shows on TV that you might not be watching. When it returns: Sept. 16 on Apple TV (episodes air weekly) Zoe Kazan brings John Steinbeck's 1952 novel of the same name to life with this new limited series. Led by Florence Pugh as Cathy Ames, East of Eden is a multigenerational saga set in California. It follows the intertwined lives of the Trask and Hamilton families. Kazan's adaptation is said to focus new attention on Cathy, the indelible antihero of Steinbeck's classic. Also, Kazan's grandfather, Elia Kazan, directed the novel's first adaptation, too. With Percy determined to find her, there's also the impending Great Prophecy by the Oracle of Delphi that is throwing a wrench in everything. It foretold that one demigod of the "Big Three" is fated to raise Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing down. When it returns: Sept. 18 on Starz (episodes air weekly) Class is back in session when Abbott Elementary returns with Season 6 this fall. The new season will likely pick up after Abbott was able to stay open, even though the district planned to shut down 20 schools. And while they are still operating, there will be an influx of new students, which surely means more work and more hijinks for our favorite teachers. Abbott Elementary will also hit its landmark 100th episode this season, which is such a huge and well-deserved accomplishment, especially in the era of shorter seasons and streaming. When it returns: Oct. 7 on ABC, next day on Hulu (episodes air weekly) This binge-watching sensation returns, which will surely be just as wild as the first. In The Hunting Wives Season 2, Sophie (Brittany Snow) and Margo (Malin Akerman) are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. The stakes keep rising as their dangerous games continue to bring even more questions to light. Basically, are they the hunters, or are they being hunted? When it returns: Nov. 26 on Netflix (all episodes) It's the final season of Yellowjackets, and I am bracing for some of the most jaw-dropping episodes of TV to come from this show this fall. Meanwhile, an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own. Turns out, not every homecoming is a joyous one. As the girls' time in the wilderness comes to a close, we finally see what happened to them upon their return home, and in the present, it seems like the sins of their past are finally catching up to them. This is American Horror Story, so the plot is pretty under wraps right now, but alongside the returning cast, we'll also see some new faces like Avantika, Paul Anthony Kelly, Tig Notaro, Madelaine Petsch, and many more. When it returns: Sept. 24 on FX and Hulu (episodes air weekly) Based on Jane Austen's iconic novel of the same name, Pride and Prejudice gets a new six-part limited series this fall. Described as a "faithful, classic adaptation" written by Dolly Alderton and directed by Euros Lyn, this adaptation tells the same story we've all grown to love. Of course, Pride and Prejudice follows Elizabeth Bennet (Emma Corrin) and her sisters, whose mother is desperate to marry off her daughters so that their modest family estate doesn't pass to a distant male cousin if their father were to die. When Mr. Bingley (Daryl McCormack) moves into the neighborhood and brings with him his friend Mr. Darcy (Jack Lowden), the Bennet family sees an opportunity to marry off one of their daughters. When the repressed daughter of a wealthy New England family and her rebellious maid find themselves trapped in a house built on humiliation and cruelty, the duo escapes into a fantasy of sex, power, and revenge. The gruesome unsolved murders that follow don’t just shock the world, but they also give birth to an icon who refuses to live imprisoned in a cage, choosing instead to forge her own legend. Starring: Ella Beatty, Vicky Krieps, Charlie Hunnam, Rebecca Hall, Billie Lourd, Joey Pollari, Sarah Paulson, Jessica Barden, and more When it premieres: Sept. 17 on Netflix (all episodes) Created by Sharon Horgan, this upcoming rom-com follows Alex (Horgan), a 50-year-old divorcee, who is trying to search for sex and love while juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be-all-grown-up son, who is heading off to university. What starts as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew's mother (Holland Taylor) accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret: The two lifelong friends might actually be brothers. What ensues is a heartfelt and hilarious comedy as Woody and Matthew try to uncover the truth while trying not to spiral into full-blown identity crises. And yes, this is based on the rumor that they are really brothers IRL. When it returns: Oct. 30 on Paramount+ (episodes air weekly) One of the surprise hits of last year returns with Season 2! That's right. If you aren't watching Best Medicine, you should change that before this season kicks into gear. The show follows Dr. Martin Best (Josh Charles), a high-profile surgeon who uproots his life and takes over a private practice in the small coastal town of Port Wenn, Maine. However, things aren't easy because there is one slight problem: Dr. Best has a fear of blood. The second season will likely pick up after Dr. Best had to defend himself before a medical board. This show is another great entry into my favorite TV genre: doctor moves to a small town (see: Everwood, Hart of Dixie, and Virgin River). Real-life couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly star in Newlyweds. This new comedy series follows Jeanie (Leoni), a free spirit, and James (Daly), a buttoned-up professor, who make the impulsive decision to get married after a whirlwind, later-in-life romance. For starters, Athena (Angela Bassett) is finally becoming a detective. Then, in the final moments of the Season 9 finale, it was revealed that Buck (Oliver Stark) had taken in Theo after the sudden death of his parents, who were Buck's good friends. So, yes, those are two BIG changes ahead of this new season, which will surely continue to turn up the heat and deliver jaw-dropping moments in the way only 9-1-1 knows how to do. When it returns: Oct. 15 on ABC, next day on Hulu (episodes air weekly) Chad Powers (Glen Powell) is a superstar on the field. There's no denying it now. However, his odd behavior off the field has everyone suspicious, especially Ricky (Perry Mattfeld) and Gerry (Colton Ryan). The walls might be closing in on Russ's lie, and if he and Danny (Frankie Rodriguez) want his alter-ego Chad to survive the regular season for a chance to lead the team to the College Football Playoff, the only person who can help them is the last person who wants to: Ricky. Wanda begins the series with a firm belief that West Coast rap has the power to reshape American culture. She works to assemble a group of geniuses and lead them toward the realization of all their dreams. However, the new game also has her overlapping with street politics that pull in those close to her, including her cousins Lamar (Asante Blackk) and James (Peyton Alex Smith). Starring: Gail Bean, Isaiah John, Asante Blackk, Peyton Alex Smith, Simmie "Buddy" Sims III, Brandon Mychal Smith, and more When it premieres: Sept. 8 on FX and Hulu (episodes air weekly) It's been one year since Eddie (Theo James) and Susie (Kaya Scodelario) joined forces in Bobby's (Ray Winstone) criminal empire overseas. So, her only way to keep her rowing dreams alive is to join the dysfunctional boys' varsity crew team as their coxswain. Teagan is thrust into this competitive world that is filled with old money and brutal competition. Not to mention, she also gets caught in the orbit of the team’s two most competitive rivals: the arrogant team captain, Josh Regis (Sam Braun), and the quiet but intensely driven underdog, Cam Dillinger (Kyle Clark).
